You are entitled to your opinion that the song is bad. That's you're right.
You can just say "you're wrong, the song is good" and it means the same thing here.also, song is boring. It's an EDM song that fades into the background and blends in with a lot of the other EDM songs we already have, so there's nothing present to make it stand out. It doesn't do anything to be special/unique.

In Between has a single weird to time stop at 99 steps
I wouldn't call it all that weird to time. It's really long but you have plenty of time after the chart resumes for you to hit that next freeze properly even on a blind run.

I can time IN BETWEEN’s stop just by listening to when Mayumi Morinaga comes in, it’s two beats then the jump.

The only EE with a genuinely crappy chart is Neutrino. There is no good reason for it to go up to 300, and there's that completely empty section towards the end like they gave up on charting halfway through. has a section of jumps that don't fit the music at all, also 24ths at 200 like are you kidding me?
Cozy Catastrophe is also pretty bad and would have been better if it ran at a flat 180, but the actual steps are fine for the most part.
The rest of the songs have solid, well-structured charts that don't force you to do anything weird (afaik, I'm not super familiar with some of them like out of focus but I don't remember having many complaints when they first came out).
In contrast, the newer songs all have charts that are more natural and better fit the music, and this includes the speed changes. Vanquish The Ghost has half slowdowns and Pursuer has that plus a double BPM gimmick, but these actually go with the song's beat. When it gets to the half-time dubsteppy part, the chart slows down so that the quarter note matches the new tempo. Like, this is normal and expected thing, and it would feel stilted and awkward if they didn't. Plus, it's fairly easy to tell where the changes are coming, even on a sightread: you see green notes, you prepare to slow down. I know most other rhythm games don't do this (take a look at Elemental Creation), but in DDR I feel like it makes the charts feel more organic and just more fun overall.
As for the songs themselves, IMO they're all catchy as hell. My least favorites are In Between and Pursuer and even those are still at least decent. VTG really surprised me with how much it slaps. Obviously this is subjective and if you hate dubstep I can see why you might complain, but personally I love it and every EE is a certified bop.

I actually don't mind it as much as some other gimmick charts, but if you think Neutrino's BPM gimmicks are BS you really haven't seen ACE FOR ACES yet.

Oh I have, I didn't bring up ENDYMION or AFA cause those aren't technically Extra Exclusives.
both are bad but theyre boss songs so like thats kinda expected
like if you wanna get REALLY into it Pluto and CHAOS are both trash but that's kinda outside the breadth of this discussion

Twitter user @hisa_kun posted this picture of a metal dance pad I've never seen before...
With KONAMI clearly written on the bottom of the pad, I think a new CS game is coming...

Nope. If you checked the hashtag of the tweet, it was for showing off collector's items.

It was a limited release of these home pads by KONAMI, I believe 100 were produced. Someone correct me cause i'm at work and probably wrong about that.

According to the IGN article I linked, that's at least what they announced. They cost 198,000 yen (~$2,000), and apparently, hisa_kun managed to snag it at a similar price (200,000 yen) according to their tweet.

Yeah, isn't that the old Arcade Style controller from many moons ago? Some ways to tell the age of it are the Start and Select buttons, no longer a format on PS4. And hiding in the upper-left corner of the pad is the old Konami logo.

The artist name, romanized, is Ayaka Kitazawa (or Kitazawa Ayaka if you're reading in Japanese). She's a singer from Saitama, Japan.
Here's one of her works:

Here's clear audio of the 7 BEMANI Summer Greetings event songs coming soon. Only time will tell, weird how they haven't given DDR a start date tho.

They've been revealing the start dates for each game weekly, and they just announced pop'n and SDVX start dates at the same time. Based on that, they'll probably start the event for DDR next week.

Are we getting Pursuer on Final too? Maybe even AfA?

I personally don't think we'll see AfA outside of Extra until the next installment in the series. They need an endgame song, after all.
