I'd be more excited for these songs if I thought Konami was going to bring them over to the U.S. Which they won't.

I also noticed Konami changed Shiawase's jacket from the one in SOUND VOLTEX for censorship reasons.

The jacket in SOUND VOLTEX is from the end of the song's video, which reads "I can't take it anymore". If you've ever seen the video for the song, mainly the scene leading up to said line, you would know now why Konami changed it.

I'm watching someone play DDR A - he was playing IX but at the stage result screen, there are no orbs that pop up like what you'd see in premium mode. Is it possible to unlock Savior songs for non-premium play?

I wonder if they'll use the same song cut from SDVX/BeaSt for 幸せになれる隠しコマンドがあるらしい, as it's original video was included and edited for BeatStream. I wonder if it's Expert chart or possibly have a Challenege chart that will follow the commands heard in the song.

Nope, unfortunately if you don't use premium mode you can't access the extra stage unless you play with someone else. Therefore it's impossible to unlock almost any song.

Most likely they unlocked it in premium mode already. If you've unlocked a song you can play it in normal mode, but you can't unlock anything in normal mode.
Most arcades have premium for one credit enabled, but if its not enabled then its a lot cheaper to just play normal mode.

Bolded is not true. Extra stage unlocks have traditionally not been available outside of premium mode. Event unlocks (Rinon's adventure) on the other hand would be available.

What about unlocks that were moved to EXTRA SAVIOR from events? IX falls into this category.

(In DDR 2014) If you unlocked it during the event, you get to play it without premium mode. If you unlocked it on extra stage, you don't.

Tips for ACE FOR ACES : How to play it with 3x mod
1) Pick ENDYMION with 3x mod
2) When song is started, change mod immediately
3) Go for it.

What do you mean by "free play"? As in, no credits, play away? Or as in not-premium?

Because if it's the latter, I have to dispute your claim - I still can't play Sterling Silver without going double credit and enabling Premium Mode.

As in not-premium. If you've passed sterling silver on expert (or played it with level 3 heat power), you should have seen an animation that says "expert get" after the song. This means its now available in normal play. Note that if the other player does premium mode but you don't, I'm fairly certain you're unable to unlock anything (correct me if I'm wrong)

I've unlocked it in the past via Extra Savior or whatever it was called, but I still need to pop in double credits to activate Premium Mode to play it. By "unlocking," I mean that I don't have to play it in forced Life4 unless it's Extra Stage - just any time during stage 1, 2 or 3.

That's strange, I never had that issue. I've been able to play anything I unlocked without playing on premium mode.

I wonder - have you unlocked everything there is to unlock? I haven't unlocked everything, and my theory is that if you unlock everything, then it's possible to play those songs without going into PM.
