Basically everyone who's getting big scores or WR are ITG players since the big DDR drought, Chris, Dark Xuxa, EvilDave, Fungahh is the exception since he played DDR from before, and we still haven't seen all the other big names from ITG try it on camera but I know quite a few are playing DDR A.

I think "Chris is just destroying every hard song on DDR" is more accurate at this point. I'm pretty sure most ITG players won't touch PARANOiA ~HADES~ with an 11-and-a-half foot pole, for starters. Also, Chris is kind of a machine in terms of consistency of play, to a much higher extent than "NA".
Also, the footwork for the last run is amazing.

Yeah, is the more logical reason. The most probable announcement is a new extra exclusive song (is been a month without news about this stage), and with the upcoming removals maybe they can add some songs to the list with the new patch

The event is still ongoing and it never said there was an end date to it either other than the chance to unlock the skins. Those have a deadline of next week on the 6th. For all we know the event could still be going months down the road.
There is that weekly Bemani presentation happening tomorrow that is apparently covering multiple Bemani games. DDR may be included but who knows.

They wouldn't talk about a single song being available next month, or any event outside of a new game that far in advance. If anything, that'll be announced sometime around December.
Not even NewGenStarFest was announced more than a week of it happening, and the same for pretty much all the DDR stuff save for S!ck which was announced a full week before it was available. That'd be ridiculous to do more than tease something that far in advance (and by tease I mean not even saying what songs are going to be added).
We are due for a new Extra Exclusive if they were to keep up with that. No new Extra Exclusive for October at all even though all the other ones were generally added a month between each other.

Honestly I'm really disappointed we haven't seen more of the Vs. remixes since last month, I thought they were really well done and fun to play. I guess we'll find out within the next 12 hours if we're getting anything tomorrow.
