Welp, I can jump on the Anti-Matter bandwagon. It is a bit slower and fewer steps than EC, plus all the difficult crossover parts are in the beatdown sections. Also I forgot those crosses at the end of Possession, which arent as brutal as other 18s, but still quite difficult I would admit.

How about we wait for a couple more 17 MFC's first? New Century is a good second MFC candidate.

Barring MAX.(period) and IX, the crossover streams toward the end are actually really brutal even for an 18. If someone could Marvelous their way through that, and then hit the 12ths combined with jumps, they could also try Pluto Relinquish 's ending as well.Post #2945 · Posted at 2016-10-17 07:10:20pm 7.5 years ago

Not meaning to go off-topic, but I noticed the UK location test just ended almost a week ago. For those who have been to that machine before the test ended, do you think it's been successful enough for Konami to contemplate making a European release of A?

I swear, if we have BROSONI, FEFEMZ, iamchris4life, and a few other top players, the next KAC will be freaking stacked.

You can't participate in KAC if you're not from Asia.

I like how the max combo in that song is 572 instead of 573. I know some people took the song as a jab at Roxor/ITG back in the day with the dial pad background, phone sound effects, a voice sample of "We're all you need", and the ending where the dude says "We are connected" with a little chuckle afterward. I wonder if the 572 was basically Konami saying "You're not 573, you're 572!" with 573 meaning #1 in terms of 4-panel music games (not like there were any other real competitors though). I know I'm reading too much into it but the topic always...fascinated me. Eh? Eh?
Looking forward to ATL opening up their Round 1 eventually, might consider making the 5-6 hour drive from MS to go play it at least once. I've been so out of the loop with DDR the last few years and ended up moving on to PIU Fiesta/Infinity/Prime instead since Mississippi's two 3 DDR machines have vanished. One DDR X got sent to Alabama, the other rotted away at a bowling alley before getting removed, and the SuperNOVA got replaced with a PIU Prime with terrible pads and non-existent volume. Playing DDR A would be a breath of fresh air.

Well I guess that sets the precedent. Wasn't expecting FELM to be the first MFC 18 Candidate (I was expecting Anti-Matter, as were a lot of people), but I guess now that I think about it most of it isn't too bad aside from the jumpspam, and even that isn't completely stupid (unlike, say, NGO).
Though seriously. 5 perfects? What the hell, Quickman. Just who are you?
(inb4 it wasn't quickman)

Funny thing is, DDR A arrived on the US and I said a couple years back that some of the DDR-ITG names would take over the scores if a DDR X3-2013 machine arrived and people laughed at me, and now I'm being proved right. A lot of the big names in the US of DDR-ITG are taking over almost every score on DDR A.

The Floor Infection event is now playable on U.S. cabs. You still need access to a R1 SDVX cabinet to unlock them.

Something tells me they'll probably won't be added to Extra Savior for NA until after the event ends.
