Here are the steps to Illegal Function Call D-
There's no 260 BPM 16ths, but a lot of the jumps and transitions are quite difficult. The chart really seems like a drainer.

There's spins at steps 295 and 480 combo. Both of those can't really be done without a doublestep.
Spins aren't doublesteps, and these aren't even that bad of spins other than the initial turning into them. There's even more in that chart as well. The hardest part is memorizing the pattern so you can do it without looking at the screen but there are a lot of charts like that in the first place. Perfectly doable.

Well...bios screen if anyone cares. I really should bring my keyboard here sometime. Or a splitter to record stuff since the back is open. I grabbed some photos and upped them if anyone cares.

Does somebody have some good pictures of the new rinon forms (lv1,lv2&lv3)? I'd like to examine them (Since it just flashes by on the screen.)

OK, I've been out all weekend so never got a chance to say this, but OH CHRIST YES, Illegal Function Call is delightful.

How new we talking about? I have a picture of the Try Extra Stage level 3 from awhile ago, though imgur is being a pain in the ass (I can't get to it from my browser for some reason).Post #2608 · Posté à 2016-09-06 04:06:30pm il y a 7.6 années

if you have the keyboard connected to AC board, you should change the BIOS options.Post #2609 · Posté à 2016-09-06 05:21:59pm il y a 7.6 années

Just those 3 from DDR A. If you have some clear pictures (or links to them), I would be glad Post #2610 · Posté à 2016-09-08 05:50:46pm il y a 7.6 années

Illegal Function Call ESP should be a 15. One of the easiest 16s to PFC as well.
It is fun tho

That is, only if you have the stamina to handle 700 arrows in just over 2 minutes and have the footspeed to tackle the 16ths at 260. For a 15 both of those would be quite over the top.

I'd say it's a mid 16. Around on the bounce .

Uhh what on the bounce isn't even a mid 16. IFC is slower than Paranoia Survivor and barely any denser than it.
There's like 2 16th bursts. That's not really footspeed.
Also fwiw Paranoia Survivor has a step density of 6.2 steps/sec while IFC is 6.41 steps/sec. It's barely any higher plus factor in the 10 bpm difference.

Gee, I wonder what's faster, 8ths at 270 or 16ths at 150. >_>
On the bounce also has a lot of tricky jumps thrown in as well as many odd rhythms, gallops and a brutal ending from about combo 340 onwards.

I'm not disputing on the bounce as a 16, it's just not a mid one. I use Paranoia Survivor as a base comparison for IFC because they're both in a comparable difficulty and BPM range.

I get that you picked PARANOIA survivor as a basis of comparison for speed and style, but if we're going to go about comparing densities, I'd like the two songs to be of similar lengths as well. PARANOIA survivor is about 93 seconds long. Illegal Function Call is about 123 seconds long. That's another 30 seconds of endurance on average. At a length of about 2 minutes, IFC has about as many arrows as a good number of 17s. A player whose highest playing level is 15 might endure PARANOIA survivor, but if he/she were to last for another 30 seconds, it's very plausible he/she may not finish.

Weeeell, apparently ddrcommunity.com created tier levels for all songs rated 15+. Idk if what they decided upon is universally agreed, but according to their website, Illegal Function call is among the easiest of 16's (at 16.0), while On the Bounce is only one tier more difficult (at 16.1). PSMO is a mid-16, at 16.5.

The issue I have is that ddrcommunity.com almost certainly ranks scoring, not passing; in scoring stamina doesn't matter as much (or at all, really).
PARANOiA Survivor MAX is considered one of the harder 16's in the entire series, but it's not a difficult PFC, compared to say, Trigger, Pluto, or CHAOS. Coincidentally, they rank Trigger, Pluto, and CHAOS as harder than PSM; if you're just trying to pass all three of those (okay, Trigger and CHAOS, I'll confess I haven't tried Pluto on pad yet) are far far easier. They are, incidentally, all complete nightmares to score on thanks to the unpredictable nature of their charts. Illegal Function Call is certainly easier on both fronts than PSM, but it's not that much easier.
They also put Triple Journey -TAG Edition-, a song which is generally considered the hardest 16 in the entire series, as mid-tier, so I'm hesitant to say that they really are ranking for passing difficulty.
EDIT: And they put FAXX as harder than FELM.
EDIT #2: They also say NGO is 18.6 when it's one of the easiest passes (for an 18, anyway, I'd say only FAXX and HDV are easier), as you can just kind of scramble along the pad and get something resembling a pass (I have, albeit with a D and surviving by the skin of my teeth).
And they say DEGRS is 18.9, when really it's a pretty easy pass by 18 standards if you flail about on the pads for 2 minutes (I haven't passed it, but I've come closer to passing it than, say, TME, 888, IX, or MAX. (Period)).

Idk if what they decided upon is universally agreed...
From what I know, making a difficulty tier list that is universally agreed upon is basically impossible. In fact, not only do I expect some disagreements, I expect every player in the world to disagree with several comparisons in that list for all tiers under 19.The list you shared appears to have been organized according to PFC difficulty, as wrsw pointed out. While it is one thing to try compiling a difficulty list for clearing a song, it is a completely different ball game when you try to bring in timing difficulty. Timing difficulty for a song usually has more to do with the song itself (syncing, BPM changes, stops, etc.) than any of the stepcharts for said song. Even before we touch stepcharts, we already know that some players are 1) better at timing a certain BPM than at another and 2) better able to handle stops and slowdowns really well compared to others.
When you start going into specific stepcharts, though, it gets even more complicated. We need to take things into account as ability to stay on rhythm during jump streams or shock arrows, ability to perform certain patterns (e.g. playing one-footed while holding down a freeze arrow with the other foot), etc. Furthermore, it is possible for some individuals to have difficulty PFCing a chart because of a single arrow in the entire stepchart (Beautiful Dream S- is an example). Regardless of what basis you use to compile PFC difficulties (e.g. number of players who attained a Perfect Full Combo on a certain stepchart), the basis of individual comparisons will simply not suffice.
Someone else on that page attempted to compile a clear list, but for the same reasons as above, it is certainly a not a list you can blindly follow. On every difficulty below a 19, I guarantee you will find yourself disagreeing with several comparisons. For one, POSSESSION S- is most certainly not 14.4 on a clear difficulty...
