Project D.E.L.T.A. Max 11/20-11/21 (AAA DDR Extreme)

I have a Japanese Extreme cab so I also want to participate in this. I'd like dibs on the following:

I'll set up shop on Friday at around 5 pm PDT.

I want to take part in this, but I just realized I have High School football on Friday. Doing public address for a playoff game.

I suppose after the game I'll take a quick look at the list, and see if it's worth heading to Dave & Buster's.

I didn't even think about songs with revised charts, good catch. Also I read in the first post that Dr. D is wanting AAA's on easier difficulties, this is going to be quite the feat since doubles is part of the equation.

I assume lower difficulties means Beginner / Easy / Medium meaning this attempt is to literally AAA ALL of Extreme by including doubles, I'll be watching the progress because that sounds amazing.

(1) I was under the impression that this was targeting Single only...though I see Quasar's post...can we get some clarity on this? I also doubt that Chris would get a PFC set on Legend Road Double on his first try, lol, but I don't doubt that he could definitely get that eventually. Boss songs on Double aren't typically a sightread type of endeavor. If we're also including Double here, then we'd not likely finish in 24 hours unless several of us play at least half the time (and that's not happening here with these legs, lol).

(2) It should be pretty easy to do for Single...but within 24 hours is the constraint. The whole 'dibs' thing may also complicate things if people don't actually show up, or if they can't get the ones they called for.

(3) We're looking to count PFCs only -- 990+ isn't what the hope is here.

I'm updating the first post now and working on dividing some songs up to participants to help get things done faster. Don't worry, you are completely free to play any song at any time that hasn't been AAAed, the list are merely for strategic purposes. With more people going for different songs, it eliminates a lot of reAAAs or people playing the same song concurrently.

Also, sorry if it wasn't clear, I know I have bad wording at times. The songs we are going for are ONLY on Singles, Expert and Challenge. No doubles or difficulties lower than Expert. When I said, "Also, if you are only capable of easier AAAs on lower difficulties," I should have said "lower levels" like 5-7 footers.

First post has be updated. I added a section for people who want "Dibs" on certain songs. Feel free to post what songs you for sure want to get.

Also, we are up to 26 participants, possibly more and probably more to come. Do you know what that means? In theory, everyone who preregistered would only need to play about 10 songs and if we all started at the beginning at got our assigned songs on the first try, the even could be ended in less than 30 mins!!! Haha, don't worry, I'm realistic, nothing close to that is going to happen in practice but it is still a fun thought. Just imagine if we had 256 participants playing one song each... =P

Donyal and I are working on lists for each one of you taking into account dibs. When you see your list, let us know if you want something exchanged or taken off so we can give it to someone else before the event comes. And always keep in mind just because a song is on your list, that doesn't mean someone else couldn't get it. So just make sure you check frequently on which songs have yet to be PFCed. Dibs are nice and all, but if someone isn't so nice they could just go ahead and snipe all of your dibs. Hopefully we don't have anyone like that haha, but it's still a good idea to double check before trying for a song.

Im in AST time zone. That means that Id have to begin playing at 9:30pm? Can I start earlier? If so, how earlier can I begin?

I'm still working on lists and dibs. Expect a full update sometime on Thursday. I will also be contacting the moderators privately providing them with access to the score tracker.

As of now, if you are participating in the event prerigistered or not, make sure you get your AAAs starting at the official time and post your AAAs on this forum, directly to me or the moderators, the FB post, or on AIJs thread. As of now, those are the only places the moderators and I will be checking while the event is going on. And as mentioned before, if you can at the time, do post links to the AAA pictures or videos. If you want to focus on your session first, that's fine, but please still post the AAAs as you are getting them and just bulk upload the pics/vids at the end.

Only 2 days people, let's celebrate November 20th the right way!

Ya, I know the time might be tough for people across the world. For instance, my starting time is also on the 21st at 8am, not looking to be waking up so early, but it's important so I have no choice. I'll wake up, count down and kick off the event, eat, monitor and update, then go to the arcade to do my sets. I'll hopefully play until all is finished.
