All SuperNOVA machines I've played on have worked PERFECTLY. Extreme machines do have a lot of broken things, but that's because they're old. |
it's true! it's true!
Most Extreme machines don't read the freeze arrows when I play! You have to hit and hold them a certain way. Also, a machine for Extreme was so messed up it wasn't funny! All of the arrows had to be slammed and it didn't except jumps! The music seclection arrows on the box didn't work either! You had to wait for the macine to run out of time and get a random song chosen! IT SUCKED!

not every single SN works perfectly
my usual SN has severe freeze problems on 1p's right arrow, so i usually jumping on the arrow to prevent n.g.
but yeah, your extreme is... a mess....

My worst experience was playing HVAM heavy after eating a big lunch. My friend kept egging me on to do a fast song and I finally caved in, and that was about the worst stomach ache ever. Luckily, I didn't hurl.

My worst experience was 8days ago.
I was playing double (i started soon but i'm a huge noob in double, pass only 6/7 feet heavy nobar, anyway...) i can't remember the song, but during the song a drunked guy come ON the dancepad and said something like "you want some help?" i put i'm off the dance pad but not very stronger (drunk people are agressive sometimes, i don't want to fight lol). I have miss lot of arrows, but still pass because it was my first stage.
I play the song again on the 2nd stage, a little anxious and angry because of the drunked guy. And this one, came AGAIN on the pad ! I wanted to kill him.
That was a very bad moment, my friends was like this ->

The worst experience for me is that i was on the euromix 2 machine yesterday and pad was really crap. i stamped it hard and it wouldn't let me hit the arrow. same with my dance pad at home. i wiped the dance pad clean and still there is pad misses. i can't help pad misses i wanted to get full combo or 7's 8's and maybe 9's.

Once upon a time, I was playing the Sparkle challenge course for what, the 20th time?, I had never passed Sparkle at the time this happened. (and you've all probably figured out already that I failed the course; correct!)
See, I had never gotten past Quick Master. We have some tricky pads; I am 125 lbs., and I have trouble holding left and right freezes simultaneously. The pads are better than those of any other SuperNova I've ever played on, though. (ITG pads are still the best) Quick master isn't a crap-o-pad-friendly song at all, and this day a few weeks ago, I finally passed Quick Master for the first time; I had 3 lives left. I sightread Star Gate Heaven and missed 2 and earned another life back, then missed 1 arrow in the slow part of Innocence of Silence (only 1? ).
Adrenaline pumping, I started the final song, Seduction Vocal Mix, with one life left. I was too tired to cling to the bar, so I played barless and was hitting everything - the jumps, stream, etc. While I'm playing the easier parts, I'm conscious that I must eventually read (1x vivid) and full-combo the final two 8th streams. (no pressure, man! 8) ESPECIALLY with one battery life!)
So I get to the first one, crossover properly and get past it, then I start the second crossover stream. I am constantly aware of and dreading the super-doublecrossover-Afronova-esque part at the end of crossover two, and right when I get to the hardest part of the song to combo, some dumb, half-brained idiot of a 10-yr-old (parents weren't even watching him either, figures) is parading around the arcade with his kazoo like it's the invention of the century, and he stands right next to the machine and starts blowing. He wasn't even looking at me, it's like he didn't even know I was there.
I fail the course, let out an angry yelp, then go up to the kid and tell him to blow his kazoo somewhere else since it's distracting around rhythm games. The little prick doesn't even look at me or say anything, but I didn't hear that awful kazoo anymore the rest of the night.
On a happier note, Goldensunboy finally passed Sparkle, some 4-5 days after this incident. He also passed SuperNova a few days later, then lived happily ever after.
~The End

Interesting story. I remember that when i playing trip machine -luv mix- on expert, some freakish girl stole my phone from the ledge as she didn't know that it wasn't mine. I told her to give it back but she wouldn't listen to me. The most important thing that you shouldn't do and that is you never leave portable devices on the ledge. It's been about 6 months trying to get my phone back.
