ZIv War Games 2011

Pandy here. And I got a brand new contest for ZIv! It's called ZIv War Games.

Stage 1
What makes this a twist from other contests is this time you have to work in 5 teams.

We will pick (By vote) 5 prime simfile artistes as "team leaders", then all other members in the contest will be picked one by one from each leader. there will be 5 teams that you and/or your team leader can customize anyway you like, a la banner in a sig or something like that. To show pride in your simfile team.

Stage 2
Voting for team leaders will end FRIDAY the 21st. Smfiles can be submitted on Wednesday October 25th. we will start the contest. only one simfile a member per week, so you have to make it count. When the week ends for submissions end, we judge the weeks files as the new simfile week starts. (Just like the Summer Contest). The team with the most team votes wins that week.

Now here's where things get good. The team that places 1st for that week can take a simfile artist from the team that got last place. You will have 48 hours to pick your member. The team leader can pick or he can talk to his teammates on who to get. The contest ends when there's is only one team left or the team with the most members by March 2012.

Voting:
Voting is just like the summer contest. You will vote for 5 songs. Winner for each week is the song with the most points/votes. You can NOT vote for a song that are on your team.

RULES (much like the summer contest)
1. You can NOT vote for your own team songs
2. ALL SONGS WILL BE PAD CHARTS. They can be DDR or ITG style.
3. Autogen steps of ANY sort will NOT be allowed.
4. 1 song per user a week is the limit
5. must have at least - charts
6. Banners and Backgrounds are not required, but they are suggested. Other members can help you out with GFXs
7. Songs can NOT be from a past simfile you have made. It must be made exclusively for ZIv War Games. you can submit your file outside the contest when the contest ends.
8. All songs must be under 2:30.
9. All songs must be under the old 1-10 DDR and/or ITG's 1-13 Rating system.
10. You are required to vote. Not voting will only hurt your team there for hurting yourself.
11. Any trolling, constant violation of rules, or stealing simfiles will result in disqualification for the contest and all files submitted by the member will be deleted.
12. When submitting a simfile put the week number on the song. Example: [WEEK 1] Colorful Cookie

Post if you want to be in, I'm looking to getting 30-40 members. The final number has to be by 5s so we have fair teams to start wtih. I'm also now taking votes on who you want the team leaders to be.

Deadline for every week will be Wednesday @ 3PM CST If you enter your file a little late, I MIGHT accept it. Don't take your chances.




Any questions of errors you see, point it out ASAP.

I hate to agree with Aegis here, but he is right. Based on the Immortals tournament, 20-25 might be more reasonable.
