The Official DDR Accomplishments Thread (Read first post, NO STEPMANIA OR ITG)

Only two more days left of 10hr days at work. They've really been kicking my tail in terms of my ability to keep in shape. The timing of DDR A arriving in America really helped. Now just gotta get back to my regular schedule so I can do some sort of practice in the evenings.

I've been shocked by how well even I have been doing with PFC's. I got PFC #50 last Friday, it was Dance All Night.



Also got Star Gate Heaven on Saturday after years of low SDG's. I've gotten as low as 25p, but never on a PFC. I'll definitely improve the MA later.

Here's one I got a week and a half ago that really blew my mind. It's my first true AA+ on a 14: Kurokami midareshi shura to narite Heavy.



And of course, my current best on Rising Fire Hawk. I've made it to the break three times.

It's been awhile since I've posted. I haven't posted anything since playing A so I'll run through some of the 44 songs I've played so far.

Let's start with my first 8 Arcade PFCs on A! I'm playing on the left in all of these. I'll also add corresponding Video Links and dates achieved.

I normally don't care about scores that much but I've been getting FPCs a lot recently.

The one I'm most proud of is this.

Wasn't expecting it. Best I've done was 1 great prior to this, and it was always when I forgot to do the footswitches properly.

I played 3 credits of DDR A at the weekend in what could be suggested as being successful:

12 songs, 6 PFCs of which 4 were sightreads:

Other notable scores were 2g on Summer Fantasy on a sightread (those footswitches are hella fun) and 1g Romancing Layer which is going to start being a bogey song if I don't get it soon.

but this is the first 980,000+ score I've ever got on , though using the DDR A scoring system. With the DDR SuperNOVA 2 scoring system, this would only be 978,880.

I Play DDR OK

I have 3 accomplishments:

#1: After FC'ing the , and charts of Beautiful Inside (Cube::Hard Mix) with the one being a PFC, I didn't do well in this song on (less than 950,000 score) without using the bar...

The accomplishment? This is the 1st Level 10 I cleared.

#2: Today, I almost got a PFC on Love Shine that could have been my 1st on , except that the fact that the ending had a couple 1/8 notes that threw me off. As a result, I scored a Great, then another Great right at the last step just to avoid any Black Flag (I haven't had one, YET):

The accomplishment? This is the 1st song in which I FC'd a song on with less than 1% Greats on a chart (2 Greats out of 209 Total, or 0.96%).

#3: Also today, I got my 2nd PFC on a chart with over 200+ notes on :

This gives me my 5th PFC on . However, I hadn't got any SDP's on yet: my best so far is 26 Perfects on BE LOVIN.

AA #200 on DDR A for me is Twin Bee.

But PFC #69 is Celebrate Nite.



And PFC #70 is Party Lights.



I've also crossed 750k on Rising Fire Hawk. If I can finally pass it before it unlocks, I'll probably get my first pass with a true AA.



I now relate to every player who fought to complete Over the "Period" when it was first released. I sympathized before. Now I truly understand how it felt.

I'm honestly impressed I finally did this.



I think I'm over 100 FPCs now, and I'm getting close to AAA'ing a 16 (Idola ESP of all things). I'm impressed with how well I'm improving.

While I unfortunately failed to get a photo of the exact score, I did manage to get a photo of this: A full great combo on Elemental Creation , the hardest chart I managed to FGC by far.

i think i might be on track to passing an 18 (Pluto Relinquish) [no bar]. it's really only the ending section that makes it go beyond a 17 -- the rest of the song is just your typical 16-level chaos. it feels like the easiest 18 i've run across so far (but ive only played up to SuperNOVA 2).

Well, that's impressive. Congratulations on that! Pluto Relinquish is far from the easiest though, in my opinion. Even in the event you don't have anything newer than SuperNOVA2, there's Healing-D-Vision .

At this point on DDR A, from 1st Mix --> SuperNOVA 2, I've cleared every song, nobar, with the exception of the following 17s & 18s

If I go to the arcade when I'm not exhausted, those starred songs should be no problem. I've gotten through far enough in each of the above songs to give me the mind I might pass them soon here, My arcades left pad is kinda funky right now (and the card reader isn't reading Player 2's side), so might be awhile.

I feel proud with the above songs being the only songs I haven't cleared (up-to-this-point). I know it gets crazy from here on out, but for now I can clear 16s no issue, 17s are in my sight and even easier 18s nobar

I never really had a chance to play the majority of these the first time around. Regardless it's been a long journey -- and it's a crazy experience playing every DDR song in order, all , (and a few because they would have higher #s than the chart!!). There are so many patterns in songs you wouldn't think would challenge you, that make even low s an exciting journey.

PS: Been looking ahead in the DDR X folder and tried out Max 300 X-Special and literally got all the way to the second-to-last jump and failed it.
