Plus, let's look at the positives/negatives of this:
Positives:
- maybe with an arcade version, ALOT of people will line up and pay money to play, and with the popularity of GH, there's gonna be lot'sa MONEY
- What if Konami (since they are helping developing the cabinet for this game) sent out DLC which included songs from GF? (likely to never happen but you never know)
- online cash competitions? SWEET! (but hopefully NOT from E-amuse...then that will cause mayhem between DDR and GH peeps)

Negatives:
- If this IS GH, more than likely you will have songs spanning from 3 minutes to 7 minute solo's, and due to it's popularity here in the states, you will have LONG QUEUE LINES of people waiting to play...
- People will look more like dumb asses while playing.
- (8-10 speakers) This may cause the machine to drown out any other noise around the arcade place and surround it with GH music.
- Some people may get upset if a certain song that they wanted to play is not on there, especially GH fan boys who own the games.
- ASIDE from that, some may not even WANT to play it in the arcades, because they have it at home.

...let's just hope this won't cause riots/fights/n00bs/Mama Luigi impersonators...scratch the last one >_<

Neither do i, but we will wait until Tuesday, when they SAY it will be shown at that expo in Orlando...(watch there be a Test location in Orlando or maybe even Tampa...i will be there if there is one in Tampa, just to check it out and see the default songlist)

Possibly...but then what happens if Rock Band takes the initiative and put it out into arcades as well? The only thing that GH would have to do to counter that would be to put out GH:WT versions in arcades (like an upgrade disk/cabinet)...

Damn GH and trying to make themselves feel superior than others...and it is somehow working too >_<

Seeing that X-play review of beatmania made my blood boil.

That's a sad truth, Since this is America and we basically created "rock", EVERYONE will talk ALL about GH or RB or some other third thing...but won't give any FULL attention to the true games that started the GH/RB craze...
