As it is in the title, we can see new name for KONAMI soon.

The company says

"Since its establishment, the Company has expanded its business as a pioneer in the Japanese entertainment industry and now operates in four business segments: Digital Entertainment, Amusement, Gaming & Systems, and Sports. In marking the Company’s 50th anniversary since its establishment, we will change the trade name so that we, along with its group companies, will continue to take on new challenges and strive for further growth as a sustainable company.”

So we can see BEMANI games with new KONAMI name. Interesting.

"five minute white boy challenge"
I still call Bandai Namco just "Namco" so we'll see if this changes anything significantly lol

Approximately nobody asked for this song to be included. Least popular decision by the Japanese since Nintendo released the Wii U.

Yes, we can look forward to Konami Group Corporation instead of Konami Holdings Corporation. Does it even affect their vidon game subsidiary?

"F***ing exhausted."
That title sure is misleading. This won't be seen on the games at all except in the credits, it's all still Konami. Their trade name is like how World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. owns WWE. The Konami Holdings Corporation owns Konami, and changing it to Konami Group Corporation won't change that they still own Konami. That's why the statement is worded the way it is, Konami isn't changing it's name the company that owns Konami (which happens to have Konami in it's name) is. The "Konami" screen will still just say "Konami" and you'll see the new name in the credits where the old one was.

"five minute white boy challenge"
To be fair Nintendo Life has a history of sensationalizing the fuck out of everything if not outright getting things wrong so this isn't shocking

Seeing the source being NintendoLife and them having another misleading headline.
