That's very kind of you and I appreciate it! And yes, this theme will be compatible with outfox on release.

The color scheme and background are among the most beautiful I have ever seen in DDR games. I really look forward to trying this out when it's released.

Thank you, that means a lot to me! I definitely want it to look the best it can within my own limits; been focusing on polish lately. I'm excited to eventually share with you all once it's more or less bug free and up to a standard I can be proud of.

Thank you saib0t!
Today is NoteSkin day.
I've also been working on bringing the DDR X noteskin to HD resolution (unless somebody has already done this?) Either way let me know if you guys would be interested in this as well since it might require some extra time and work.

Woah...! I'm absolutely in love with this theme so far! This genuinely looks a ton like something I'd want out of DDR officially. Incredible job!!
Also, the noteskin looks amazing! It reminds me of the current official DDR noteskin but with a splash of gold (if you get the reference, that is).
Edit: Even though I personally don't use (or like for that matter), I'd love having an HD version of the DDR X noteskin. That'd be super neat.

I just realized both the combo and judgement are under the arrows and wanted to say I love you. Not enough themes do this, and I get a lot of them are going for accuracy but I appreciate the function greatly. It’s one of the best things about the DDRII interface on Wii.

Looking forward to this theme of yours too!
Another request repeating from your Mini theme, is the ability to hide jacket art during song play, please!

I appreciate all the feedback and I'm happy to hear you guys are looking forward to this!
At the moment I don't have plans for support for 2 players though maybe in the distant future. I was trying to get DDR characters working the other day and couldn't quite figure it out. Of course I'm using KenP's DDR A theme as a base which doesn't have support either so I may have to look into other ways to implement it if I can.
As for changing the gameplay now playing overlay to something smaller- just spent 2 hours trying to get an option toggle for it built into screenplayeroptions but unfortunately I don't think my coding is quite up to par to get theme side user preferences going on my own. (thought it might just be a few if/then statements but I was wrong...) I can for sure include a patch to make it small or big but if anyone is knowledgeable enough to help me code that into screenplayeroptions directly and is willing to lend a hand it would be a huge help.
Otherwise the theme is about finished! DDR X notes will take some extra time but I'll probably release those on their own at a later date.

This looks great! I love that it echoes much of what I like about the A20 interface whilst making the song selection screen a lot less cluttered, and much easier to read. I'm really looking forward to this.
As you have mentioned developing it further in the future, perhaps you could consider implementing different song selection "wheels" (like the Starlight theme does) eventually? I also second the request to hide the jacket overlay during gameplay in a future version, or at least for songs that have scripted background videos.
Can't wait to try it out!

Is this going to support courses? I got caught up in how awesome it looks and almost forgot about that. I like to play courses which makes a lot of great themes unusable for me.

This will be single player/song mode like my last theme since my coding skills are not quite up to par to tackle 2 player or course mode at the moment though it could potentially be implemented in the future. Sorry to disappoint.
Regarding custom music wheels and backgrounds like Starlight- Since I've been using KenP's DDR A as a base for my theme, a lot of my options are limited to what was already atleast partially implemented in his theme. (save for a few additions of my own, i.e. the time remaining bar or now playing overlay among other things that were actually achievable with my code knowledge) I'm almost tempted to get in touch with the Starlight team and ask to use their theme as a base for my own so as to provide much more functionality but I'm not sure they'd want to share their 11 years of work with someone else, lol. I know I personally would be hesitant.
If anyone with greater coding knowledge would be willing to help me implement some of these things I would love to start a small team as I myself am more on the front end development side of user interface design and coding has never quite been my forte. (Though I'm pretty proud of what I've accomplished so far with this lil project )
On another note I've also recently updated my Stepmania from 5.0.12 to 5.1b3 as well as downloaded Outfox to test compatibility and realized this theme alike Kenp's has a number of minor bugs introduced. (one obvious one is a strange bug where album art wont resize on focus in the music wheel? couldn't find the culprit either) I'd recommend using Stepmania 5.0.12 as to avoid these.
Looking to release within the next few days. Here's a couple updated screenshots including a preview of the smaller now playing patch:

Not trying to be pushy, but that theme already has course modes for Nonstop and Challenge implemented. You would actually have to go out of your way to remove them, not to implement them. But that's alright, when you release this I'll still be downloading it to see how it turned out, even if it's not my daily use theme.I've been using KenP's DDR A as a base for my theme
