Z-I-v Simfile Tycoon Deluxe

Welcome to the revamped Tycoon simfile contest, now known as


The objective is simple: make simfiles that other players like and receive the most award points. The catch is, you don't make the audio and graphics yourself, but you purchase skeletons from the auction or the store that is cut, synced, and adorned with graphics. Then, all you do is add your own original chart that hopefully people will like, and turn a profit! For each round, if you place in the top 5, you also get award points. After all 3 rounds, the player with the most award points wins!

Important distinctions from last time:
• You can submit up to three skeletons, and each skeleton must include graphics (you may use provided placeholder graphics). You cannot submit more than one BEMANI song, and more than two songs originating from rhythm games, per round. Note that you will still be submitting only one completed simfile per round.
• Award points ₳ and currency points € are now separate. In addition, you receive a lot more currency points to start with.
• THE STORE! (I'm most excited about this one) All simfiles that are not sold to the highest bidder are put up for sale at the store! Any player can buy skeletons from the store and use them to make their simfiles. This replaces the backup pile and buy-in vetos.

You submit up to 3 skeletons for each round. This is to help have a larger selection of songs to pick from. I am planning on utilizing the preview music to make it so that you can preview all the songs in a matter of several minutes.

In the event that the skeleton sender only submitted placeholder and/or low quality graphics but the charter ended up with that song, is the charter allowed to replace the graphics with entirely new ones?

Yes, you are allowed to replace graphics. The same goes for audio, you are allowed to recut a song, given that you preserve the structure in the original low-quality cut.

By the way, I have a question: Are you allowed to reveal which skeleton(s) you submitted? If so, at what stage are you allowed to do so?
Haven't participated in this series of contests before so I'm not sure what the precedent is.

So it's best to keep which skeletons you submitted secret until the auction results are announced, which is exactly one week after the deadline to submit the skeletons. During that week, the auction will take place for every skeleton, and the idea is that no one knows who is bidding on whose skeleton until the auction is over.
Simfile skeletons for Round A are due in less than 24 hours! Make sure you get those in if you plan on participating in auctions for Round A!

I am updating the list of participants on the Google Sheets. If you do not see your name on the Round A page, that means I have not received your simfiles.
