So this happens if you start making the file with an mp3 and then later convert it. Stepmania doesn't really know any better to look for or fix this, so just make sure to manually edit the .sm and .ssc files with the new filename/extension (make sure you fix both since sometimes the ssc file can override the sm file). Or make sure its already a .ogg file before the first time you open SM with it in the folder since otherwise it'll initialize the .sm file for an mp3.

You can open the .sm and .ssc files in something like notepad and where it lists the song file just replace it with the new extension. So like if you converted to ogg after starting the file you can delete the .mp3 at the end and replace it with ogg. You can do that for all the graphic files as well (like if they were jpg converted later to png).

Now that you mention HM's are allowed, just wondering if I'm allowed to give more than 10 HM's because Week 1 in general was really, really good. Since what I voted for became public now, this would've been my HM list:

Okay since Im so busy next week, starting next Saturday (which now I can say, in my time) I will give some "responds" about Week 2 steps. TBH all of my feedback is kinda like responds from player, not stepmakers, since first Im still new in stepmaking, and second, I dunno about lotta things in stepmaking (except switcheroo feet)
Like I said, I alredy try all, but I give top 10 of it, including those who I give vote

Also... Here's the thing. I think I cant give you vote for next week. Its not because I feel down with first result or else, but because Im too busy with lotta project. 1. Seiten No Teriyaki
This is what I can define as fun. TBH I enjoy even its little hard for play. But mostly charts are perfect, and leveling not fall so much (except Basic and beginner). Basically give me vibe of "lets level up some skill with fun way"
2. Run The Night
One Word : Masterpiece. for beginner player they gonna love this. Bad thing I found out its little offsync but not so much (I edit it a little and kinda fits). Steps are fun, no gimmicky things, and lovely.
3. Noctiluence
Wow, Hard choices, but thats why I love it. Give me vibes of playing PIU and only hard level of it. Perfect for Extra Stge or even Floor Infection lol. But I dont like the expert chart. Kinda "hardest level on 17". But like Teriyaki, its good for leveling up
4. Infection
Now this is nostalgia. TBH If this is PIU, more like Virtual Emotion. Curse you Kyle Ward for hellawesome songs Really, you can enjoy it. and really enjoy it. Casual player gonna love it cz its so easy, but not over or underrated charts. Fits with level. Thank you
5. Catch Our Fire
This is only personal preferences, but not give plus point for it. I Love Yuki Nakashima, damn Roselia. So the main point, This is tricky chart, but when you play it, somehow it fun. I can see good point of enjoyment. Bad thing is the Expert charts is funny, like wow weird cz not so catchy but it fits.
6. Im The Best
Personally, I love this. Vibe of Fiesta 2. but Only Mission zone. Catchy steps, and kinda fun. Its really good charts for me, Almost like you convert Fiesta 2 charts to Stepmania, but with perfect timing and leveling. Good thou
7. Particle Arts
Honestly, I can say this is good chart, even weird footing. Play lotta manual of it, so sometimes confusing but challenging. PIU style charts I can say, one of my favorite
8. Touch The Sky
Me : Underrated. I dont know if this is little underrated, but seems its not fit in some leveling. Nice beat, but this is, personally, Too Hard To Play
9. Time
Really... i dont know about this. Maybe it just me but this is offsync I guess ? Or perhaps this is not fit in some shaper way. If I was wrong so sorry, since Im still bad at offsync (especially mine is offsync too perhaps)
10. WWW
First, I laugh when saw the charts. I mean, yeah Jacks... Jack attacks. Lol. But when I play it somehow its good and fun enough. But well... Im not fan of Jacks. But still, this is good charts and fits on leveling. Maybe if there is more level for jacks, this gonna be amazing Jacks
