After 3 and a half years... LET THE TOURNAMENT RETURN!

What is Tournament of Immortals?
The Z-I-v Simfile Tournament of Immortals is a simfile competition where simfile artists will make a simfile qualifier song. After voting, they will earn a seeding and then must compete in one on one simfile tournament. Last artist standing is the winner. TOI was used to decide who would host Summer Contest but Battle Royale has taken its place. This time it's for bragging rights. (Unless someone can think of a good prize for winning this.)
I do not plan on doing a doubles bracket this time around.
RULES
1. You can NOT vote for your own song.
2. ALL SONGS WILL BE PAD CHARTS. They can be DDR or ITG style.
3. Autogen steps of ANY sort will NOT be allowed.
4. You must contain at least one chart in your song. Adding more might be advised
5. All songs must be under the old 1-10 DDR and/or ITG's 1-13 Rating system. This is so we don't have a mixup between DDR X 10s and ITG 10s.
6. Banners and Backgrounds are not required, but they are recommended. Other members can help you out with graphics.
7. When submitting your simfile It needs to have the round of the song with it EXAMPLE: [Round 1] - EMERALDAS or [Qualifier] - EMERALDAS (Yes this includes the -). This is so everything is organized and easy to get to.
8. All songs must be under 2:30.
9. In case on a tie, the tie will be decided on who has more +5 votes. If there's still a tie after that, the higher seed gets to move on.
10. If you have to drop out from the tournament, you will automatically be DQ'd from the round you are in. This is so we don't have members leaving and coming back. Sometimes real life gets in the way, so no shame if you have to step out from the contest.
11. This tournament will be Single Elimination. You can not upload a file if you are eliminated. HOWEVER, you can still vote for songs.
12. Simfiles must be made for this contest, you can not use them if they have already been uploaded before.
13. Any trolling or constant violation of the rules will result in disqualification for the tournament and all files submitted by the member will be deleted.
14. 1 song per user a week/round. SO MAKE IT COUNT!
15. You can still enter the contest up until the deadline for the qualifier round passes.
I'm looking at the final number being 32 spots in the tournament. If we get less we'll go down to 24, or go up to 48 if we get more. Depends on how many qualifier songs we get.
VOTING:
You are given 15 points which you can freely distribute to any number of entries, subject to a maximum of 5 pts per entry. The winner is decided on which simfile has the highest score. Voting will be done ala DMs like past Summer Contests. That should make things interesting. PM me or darkanine to submit your votes. Your votes will be final once they are submitted.
This style of voting will only be for the qualifier round. Once tournament play starts, you just pick what you think is the better file.
In the event of a tie, it will be who voted. If both members voted, it goes to the higher seed.
You can enter by posting in this thread that you want in or DMing me.
Qualifier round will start MONDAY SEPTEMBER 9th and will go until MONDAY SEPTEMBER 16th. Deadlines will be MONDAYS @ 5pm UTC/1pm EST. NOT SUNDAY like it was with Summer Contest. (I have to work most Sundays but I'm normally off Mondays so that's why there's the change).
