It's alright on ESP but seems WAY overcharted, really reaching for the 14 rating there in my opinion when it could've made for a really good 12/13 instead.

Song is cool though, always enjoy new KOs with vocals!

I really like the song but it is pushing it a bit for a 14 imo

Looks fun! Lots of cool patterns and it shows Konami isn't afraid of making hard charts for chill songs. It is a little overdone, but I think that resulted in a more creative and enjoyable chart than if it were just a 12 a la 千年の理.

DP charts:



Patterns are more straight-forward here, I personally like the DP charts more (although I did sightread PFC the EDP chart with 25 perfects, so there's that too).

Assuming it works similarly to how Astrogazer and New Century were available in 6th KAC qualifiers, it will probably be selectable only within the KAC event folder on single.

Wow, I'm surprised how much I love this song. It's definitely one of the best holiday songs for DDR in a while. The chart is also really fun looking, even if it is overdone. This could've been a 12 or maaaybe a 13, they didn't need to push it to a 14 imo.

Still wish they'd bump some of the Golden League exclusives down for normal play. Blue A20 feels so lacking compared to gold A20 at this point. Hoping we get a new Extra Exclusive soon. There's really been a lack of those in this mix.

DDR CHALLENGE Carnival from December 19 - March 30

Kinda similar to the DDR x DRS event, you get stamps every time(?) you play A20.

There are also 3 new songs coming this December 19:
• 令和 / ゴールデンボンバー
• Bounce Trippy / Dustvoxx
• ENDLESS / FN2 (Eurobeat Union)

The Golden Bomber song is only coming to J,K,A, and Y region cabs. North American players will have to play on a gold cab.

The other 2 songs and the event are confirmed for U region though.

Oh, boy. This is gonna be intense.
It's kinda surprising we got the Challenge chart for Prey, though. I wonder what it will look like.

Also, seems we got one stamp for every round/set. Not sure about this either.

Hey, at least it isn't as taxing as the Ichika event, where you have to play at least 10 times to unlock one of the 8 songs.

Speaking of the Ichika event, the new CHALLENGE charts are part of the 2nd MANIFEST reward, in case you're wondering.

Well that's a lot of new content to digest, even for a single game:

- Nice to see some challenge charts for some songs, especially for Our Soul, D&U and Prey (yikes), but I'm indifferent for the others imo. (It would be cool if other OG song get some challenge charts instead of those).

- I'm always hyped for new content so yay for the new songs

- if I can remember, they also announced a new song/chart for the second set of KAC songs. Idk if it one of the challenge charts or a brand new one.

Will the 1st set of KAC songs still be playable for the rankings after the 2nd round starts? I forget how this worked in previous years.

So we have a repeat of DDR A where any license added at this point we just don't get until the next version. Good to know.

I looked at the video for the licensed song, and thought "hey, that looks kinda familiar"...and then noticed a remix of the song is in IIDX with the same video.


I'm not seeing any KAC related announcement, other than the one from 11/27.
