DDR SuperNOVA 2 theme

i heard every bit of news from bemanistyle for takuya20's theme and it looks like the SN2 theme is unknown or maybe even canceled. When I read that I was so disappointed. I made a little version of SN2 but it kinda sucks but it has all required sounds and two background videos (intro and main background). Can anyone help me with the textures for SN2 so I can make it a little better?

It's been cancelled for 3.9. However, that might mean he'll eventually work on SN2 for SM4, but that'd take a long while to happen if it did.

Likely not. Takuya is not going to work on SuperNOVA2 again in the near future.
In other words, it is very likely there will never be a SuperNOVA2 theme from Takuya for SM 3.9 or 4.0.

I am actually planning to start a similar thread.. but now that KKIONI also planning to make the SN2 theme may be we can cooperate on the theme for SM?

P.S. .... The abbrevation of StepMania is just so wrong.... lol

I can help give you the sounds and vids i've so far got for SN2. but the bg video is kinda bad (recorded) but I recorded the SN2 intro pretty fine. i'm am just clueless when it comes to riping textures! but i'm looking for tutorials so I can rip textures off my SN2 cd. now i just have to find a website that will give me that info

I've got 4.0 and crashed all the time, but I think that's just my computer.

4.0 only crashes on me when I try to make it load a theme that was meant for 3.9. If I stick to the default, it's fine and never crashes.

Could I suggest KKiONI make the SN2 theme come from SN2-JP or Arcade

After played the NA and JP SN2 (PS2)
I like JP more then NA
Maybe the songs different.
or the photo different on Game Mode.
or the opening movie has a little different.
I still like SN2-JP

I use SM4 and it did not give me any problems. Check with the Stepmania website for FAQs about the SM4 project. I will wish Takuya Good Luck on the SN2 theme project!!!

I don't know if other people know this, but Takuya posted the links to the SuperNOVA 2 theme on the Stepmania forums, so if anyone wants to download the theme, I'm gonna post the link to the thread right now, http://www.stepmaniadl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15426 . I also have a question about something, in this theme, when you clear a song the door closes and the cheering starts at the same time, and for the longest time, I've been trying to get it so the cheering starts first, then the doors close like in the JP-PS2 port/Arcade version of SuperNOVA2. I've asked in about a million places and nobody has given me the answer, so if someone here can help can help me with this, I would be a very happy llama. So have fun peoples.

I've been using it off and on, but my problem with the theme is that it doesn't have a way to get to the course modes. And I know for a fact the real SN2 has those modes.

It's because the theme was built off of Takuya's SuperVOVA beta2 theme. It doesn't let you select much in that version and nothing was added in development.
The theme was edited by Zero and he posted it on Bemanistyle. Since it was obvious he used one of Takuya's themes as a base, it got taken down quite quick (Never mess with him when it comes to using his themes as a base).
It later got reposted by Takuya with a bit of fixes added to it, but nothing major.
That's basically how it went.
I actually did help Zero on the theme, but what really annoyed me was he turned around and posted it with no reference of my assistance

But yeah, I don't find it a good theme anymore due to its lack of overall quality in comparison to other themes such as CyberiaStyle
