This is great news; I'm liking that Konami is actually making an effort to bring DDR back outside of Asia, and them doing a location test in the UK is definitive proof of this!

Note that I didn't say "Bemani in general", but if everyone is starting to get legit eAmuse servers, I'm really hoping to see IIDX and SDVX relatively soon, as I've said time and time again. ;)

Here's hoping it's a success, and we see some British/European licenses if/when the location test is successful enough to have some permanent machines there!

Maybe this could be one of the European licenses? ;)

why should they go back to using that archaic name? if they're unifying the brand, why go back on it now? it's been almost a decade since they stopped using the dancing stage name.

TAG is still on staff, and U1 is responsible for "Put your hands up in the air! Put your hands up in the air!" As much as I like Dopamine, U1's contributions to Ace are pretty . I bet U1 himself cuts his Ace songs in a few years just like he cut Make a Jam and On the Jazz. (I'd rather have those back, actually!)

2013-2014-2015 were floppy because they had no budget. The DDR Design Staff (basically just TAG, U1, and whoever replaced masaru) probably had meetings to decide, okay, which IIDX/Rb crossovers can we 'afford' this month for Extra Attack? Should we just have no new songs this month instead? TAG's new music would always go into IIDX and PNM. U1's new music and remixes would be put into JBT and Rb first. Because more popular Bemanis = priorities. Poor DDR. But since RDI, no longer!

(Also the only source I can find that says U1 is the Sound Director is RemyWiki. Ever since X3 TAG has been Sound Director and U1 the Sound Producer.) (Also, the Bemani team stopped giving specific credit a few years ago? So how would anyone even find this out?)

I'm really glad on the recent developments about DDR on America and Europe finally getting a location test.

Just happy for now that South East Asia are getting more e-amusement developments.

While waiting for more news on our arcade operator about DDR A, I'm enjoying jubeat qubell, Dance Evolution at the moment. Looking forward on trying Museca this weekend and the arrival of Sound Voltex soon.

How long did it take to get the e-Amusement cards? its kind of weird how the machines come before the cards.
