Well, since MixMania II has hit around the early halfway point, I'm gonan start previewing what songs will be in it.

And here we have one of the best songs (IMNSHO) in DJ TECHNIKA: First Kiss by BJJ! (I didn't bother uploading the BG since it's only a slight edit of the promo pic and bg from DJ MAX)



I didn't do much with the text, but I feel that it fits.

Cool! I like the placement of the text you used, I always have trouble when there's long song names...

the only thing I thought was odd was the color of the text- the banners are great, but the "Space Space Shooter" titles don't seem to match the rest of the images.

That's partly the point. If you've heard the songs, they're crazy and fun. I went for lots of contrasting, clashing colors. Especially for the Cusimo and Co. Remix, since it clips along at a nice ~180 BPM and has tons of energy.

This is my V2 artwork for a Empress simfile competition on VJ Army




traced the V from the original V banner, drew the rest myself (and added motion blurs for the effects).

Can't wait for this simfile.

I was trying to imitate the original V ~for EXTREME~ banner there, and it had a logo layed out like that.

Man, I'm on some sort of banner-making spree...
