Jubeat reused graphics a lot iirc since they had a lot of licensed songs from the same albums/series.

This is definitely a first for DDR though.

actually no, HP3 and 2010 had licenses that came from the same album; Pocketful of Sunshine and Love Like This along with Hungry Like The Wolf and Rio respectively

Universe 3 China also reused two jackets: Bu La Ge Zhi Lian and Cuo Zai Cong Ming by TWINS and Wo Shi Ni De Shui and Shi Jie Zhi You Wo Men by Stanley Huang (I think Universe 3 CN is the first DDR game that reuses a jacket for different songs)

Damn, they got someone with taste to pick these crossovers! Small Steps and Crazy Shuffle are such good picks for DDR.

Crossovers are always great, Song picks are hype (especially Crazy Shuffle IMO)

The way the event works seems to be:
-For each day you play DDR or DRS, you get a stamp.
-If you play DDR and DRS in the same day, the second game gives you two stamps, so you can get a maximum of 3 per day; one in the first game you play, two in the second.
-Playing at all during this event unlocks Small Steps. Collecting 3 stamps within DDR unlocks DOWNER & UPPER. Collecting 7 stamps within DDR unlocks Crazy Shuffle.

And that is now two songs that A20 is getting that the XX project had initially. Let’s go for three.

In all seriousness I’m surprised that it took this long for any DRS songs to make it to DDR, and I’m excited to see these when they arrive.

Oh fuck yeah DDR is finally receiving DRS songs. I really hope they crossover the Saturday Night Love remix and Midnight Amaretto.

On the other hand though, we had a Nostalgia crossover just a few weeks after the game was released but Fly far bounce is still the only Nostalgia original song that's been crossed over to DDR (unless I'm forgetting one)

Curious they added Drop the bounce as a crossover song already with A20 almost "new". I remember RFH getting this treatment but it passed like a year between his release in DDR and the event in SINOBUZ.

And about the songs, nice choices. I would prefered others songs instead of Small Steps and Downer & Upper (I.E Kill the Beat, Summery, S7AGE or my favorite: Bad Boy Birdwatch) but w/e, I'll stay with Crazy Shuffle wich is a total banger.

I've been extraordinarily impressed with what we've been getting in A20 so far, and these crossovers are only helping me fuel that. Crazy Shuffle being included might ruin some simfilers' days but I'm glad we're finally getting it in DDR. The other two songs are also top notch and are fully worthy of being included. Goddamn, after such a relative disappointment that was A (let's be real here), this game getting so much support and love of such high quality almost brings a tear to my eye. I haven't seen this much gloriousness in a DDR game since EXTREME. We're blessed.
