The signs say "no photographs" and you took a photograph anyway.
Good job sticking it to the man!

Who cares
The people who're pretty sure MAX 360 Challenge ain't coming out when someone leaked it. It's petty, but it's definitely a thing that maybe arcade rules AREN'T meant to be broken.

Has anyone actually seen the footage of the MAX 360 chart? I'm still skeptical about the whole thing and I haven't seen anything to convince me it actually occurred.

Japanese below says something like "In order to avoid conflict between customers, thank you for your cooperation" so figured I wasn't violating the spirit.

Did someone leak MAX 360 Challenge at a test event or something?

If that's true, hopefully the 1000 note count indicates that this is going to be another stamina 19 in the vein of Egoism 440 instead of the technical tomfoolery of every other 19.

I'm not looking forward to seeing how they jam 1000 notes in two minutes.
That's an average of over 8 notes per second the whole song.

I did. It was a private video from "that site"Quote: NekoNekoMata

Damn it, I was just about to sell you a bridge.Ive spent literally all my evening trying to find it again, but nope.
The video was a lineout from the árcade data of 3 unreleased challenge charts: Chaos remix, Max 360, and Possesion 20th mix
In all 3 songs, the jackets remain during all the song, probably a bug caused by the datamining.
And I can confirm the 1000 combo from max 36
Edit: FOUND IT! Sadly, I can't share it here, Since it is a private youtube link. But I can share a screenshot of it indeed.

There are rumors for those two, but no "official" videos yet. The same person who showed me Max 360 Challenge mentioned a Challenge 14 for SMYM.
Twinkle Wonderland never ever.

Someone's already uploaded videos of all three on YouTube, not hard to find.

Only found them using Stepmania, which as we know is about as reputable as claiming your MUGEN mod is actually Street Fighter 6.

I must be missing something. Pardon my ignorance, but what is "that site" you guys are talking about? Where can I find these videos of the supposedly leaked charts for Max 360 and such?

you need an invite from a member to join, i'm not a member so I can't help there.
if you join you have to actively contribute to the site, if you stumble across a member ask them for more information.
I don't know where the videos of the charts are, i've only seen screenshots of an arcade cab from far away maybe having MAX 360 CSP selected and then the screenshot of MAX 360 CSP with 1000 combo if that's to be trusted.

It's real. There's a location near me that has it available for play (or at least did for a while).
It was also playable for a very short time at Magfest before people made a fuss about it.
Not going into the whole legality of it for obvious reasons, but it is a thing, and honestly more fascinating than anything. It's a pretty bland chart that's just fast with bursts. No crossovers of any kind.
Definitely something to note somewhere like The Cutting Room Floor. If it does become available in A20 at any point, the fact it's around in A at all is interesting. If it never gets added, still cool to note.
It just gets odd with the game being a live service kind of game. It could be added at any point in the future. which is why I guess people are hush-hush about it? *shrug*

Well, what song list do you think is the best in that case? And what does the interface have to do with the song list?
For the first question, it's EXTREME and X2, 3rd Mix in the old generation.
For the second question, both helps that it's a good game, like I said in previus posts, we continue seeing the same since 10 years ago, the same graphics, Play Station 2 format. (characters, dancefloor, announcer). The presentation of songlist is the unique we see which changes but the rest nothing.
In my opinion, DDR is not dead but with I don't believe something really new for the AC in the future.
it will keep in the same standard and i don't believe that Konami or Bemani invest for something really new for DDR anymore.
sir all the BEMANI games reused interfaces and other UI elements, this isn't exclusive to DDR
some are more reused than other yes but iidx has been stuck with sfx, judgement fonts, and other stuff for more than 12 years, gfdm was using ps1-esque graphics in 2004 while nearly all the other ongoing BEMANI series moved on to better hardware and graphics, even to where they had to remove old songs, much more than DDR X/SN did
EXTREME is also the prime example of reused UI elements, it should've been more drastic graphic wise considering it didn't carry the MAX subtitle (although i do suppose EXTREME and MAX are words that both share an idea of intensity, excitement, emphasis, rush & adrenaline) and has the MAX boss songs) and was released 5 years after the first DDR, and some franchises celebrate 5th anniversaries
A20 may look like a reskinned A at first glance but after rewatching videos back to back, A20 is honestly more detailed and less hollow (not that it is hollow, but A20 filled in a lot more stuff in the emptier spaces) than Ace, particularly in the stage transitions and selecting modes, and the interface will grow on you hopefully, as the fonts have grown on me btw
I will not disagree with your opinion, nor with other people who think the same, but believe me that for DDR to be better, the changes must be more drastic, , more than what we are seeing so far in comparison to previous years. I think we deserve more.

DDR has had two drastic changes to the main formula in its entire lifespan: freeze notes and shock arrows. The series has needed something for years as it is, but they seem keen on not changing a thing. Even shock arrows are underutilized so one of those major changes hardly applies. We could use new charts for older songs, A4A-style chart differences, and a lot more. As minor as they can sound, they do bring a lot of life into the game. They could even bring back Edit Mode, and while it wouldn't be new it would at least be interesting with all the new songs.
Song selection only does so much. Even with A20's incredible songlist, it does not change the fact DDR has nothing really new in it.

let's be real we keep saying how DDR needs a drastic change but remember how nobody liked IIDX or pop'n getting hold notes
