I was hoping for non-Japanese licenses this time for sure.

If you're still believing that Konami is going to cough up the dough for Western licences considering the state of them outside Asia, I have a magic bean enterprise I'd love you to invest in...

If they go for licenses, I hope they will go for songs with a bigger distribution (even if it's just songs famous inside Japan) rather than unknown touhou/vocaloid songs.

Sadly for the mayority, if they announce some licenses songs, it will be:

- Anime/TV covers
- Touhou songs
- Vocaloid songs
- Japanese EDM songs
- EXIT TUNES songs (wich implies it will be one of the three above)

Is a common topic for almost all the BEMANI games, and im not even mad about it ... At least DDR has new songs

Still waiting on those Nekomata Master, L.E.D.-G, Musical Cosmology, TAG, and DJ TOTTO songs. Perhaps it's time for them?

But... the Touhou songs so far have been the most well known Touhou arrangements out there?

Plus they are probably super cheap and won't expire in the near future like any other license would, especially considering many of the artists that make those songs also contribute original content to other music games thanks to those Touhou/Vocaloid songs. It's probably incredibly easy to license them because the artists want to see their stuff in more games, especially the stuff that put them on the radar in the first place.
