Idk how I feel about the new tambourine note sound. I'm so used to clear keysounds and it's bothering me.

DJjeff, my man, the tambourine is just an assist tick~
Songs are still fully keysounded; the tambourines are just a new option for players who want assist ticks and can be turned off by player choice.

They haven't keysounded lisences since SP

^ Some licenses have been keysounded in Sunny Park or later games, namely Get Off of My Way, the Wakuwaku band songs, some Touhou songs, Zero no isou, and others.

The common thing with those is that they are already featured in a keysounded game (gfdm is one too). Zero no isou seems to be "lisence" but it's made by kradness plus asaki and 96 so they probably have very good access to audio files.

So they definitely try when they can, but non-cover anime songs seem to usually miss them.

That did not stop Hanamaru pippi to not have keysounds though. And yes, it is also featured on another keysounded game, and was made by (at the time, in case of 96) in-house artists.

Point is, they have keysounded some licenses since Sunny Park, regardless of who actually composed them. For examples of keysounded licenses not featured on other keysounded games, see Struggle and Labradorite.

Looks like we're getting a HinaBitter bomb tomorrow...And I'm actually pretty darn excited for it! I've been wanting all these songs to cross over to Pop'n and I am more than happy that my wish is coming true.

That new U1 overground song is pretty good (do I spy a potential DDR A crossover?)

The Other Self and that Funassyi song are getting axed on July 13th, 2017.

I can't wonder but wonder at this rate if Konami will axe any licenses that are non-Vocaloid within three years from this series, since the above songs were the last remaining non-Vocaloid songs/covers of Vocaloid licenses from Lapistoria. (And only three non-GUMI licenses are left in Sunny Park.)

Is no one gonna talk about how Nove Primavere is an amazing song?

The fake(?) opera singing is so funny indeed and the instrumental is top class

The slowed-down part mid-song was so fun.

They even title-drop Pop'n Music in the song! Man, this will certainly be one of the first songs I play when I'm finally able to try UsaNeko for myself.
