Thank You 2008, On to 2009!

I was so impatient that I forgot to talk about the license renewals.

Yes! Well, it's done now, so I suppose we should go on to the main topic...

Thank you very much for your support of Dance Dance Revolution this year!

For me, this year brought on a great many new challenges to face.
It was certainly an ordeal!

The beginning of the year was already busy, as we were working on the follow up game to DDR SuperNOVA2. It was released this year, and you all know it as "DDR X".

The 10th anniversary!
We introduced the game to people that had never played before.
And of course, those who have supported the game for all 10 years bring joy to my heart.
Ah, such a feeling for these players!

Oh, we also participated in Bemani TOP RANKER this year!
We got to see all kinds of famous players throughout the country.

Ah, but there is still so much work to do concerning the DDR series.
I'd like DDR to continue for another 10 years with all of you!

Oh, and thank you for reading the DDR FROM STAFF blog (which opened in July).
And please support the 2009 DDR games!

Hehe, just kidding. I'm actually writing this at the end of December.
Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves on the new DDR X.
And now, it's time for the console release!
Please just wait a bit longer for the release date.

First, Street Master Mode.
This is the mode where there's an actual story being played out!
Don't miss out on the stories!

Next, the link function.
This is the function that allows you to play edit data made at home in the arcade game!
I'm happy that we were able to include this function.
Thank you very much to everyone who uses this.

Lastly, Party Zone.
This mode uses LAN.
You can play with up to eight people in this mode!
I hope you are able to play this mode.

Even beginners can enjoy themselves in this mode, so please try it out.

New Year's Greetings

I'm so happy that I could greet the New Year with everyone. Please continue to support the DDR Series this year as well.

Since it's supposed to be appropriate for the new year, Arcadia prints various company's plans for the new year every year in their February issue. This year, the BEMANI series will be involved....DDR too! I think the information will be interesting, because it's not something that we've usually done.

Oh, there will also be a present bundled with the magazine, so pick it up and check out the information about DDR!

It'll also contain some information about the Arcade DDR game.

It'll be sold this month, so once again, everyone please check it out!

Hopefully since I've mentioned it, everyone will go get a copy (smile)

DDR X Cellphone Wallpaper on Konami DX

DDR X wallpapers for cellphones have started going out on Konami DX. There are wallpapers for the familiar characters Afro and Emi, as well as the new character ZERO.

By all means, please check them out!

Not sure if this is serious or not. If it is, can I ask what your source is? Some of this seems either too good or too strange to be true. Firstly, don't the extended mixes typically come at the end of the CD? Second, IIRC, didn't the "Specials" from SN2 not show up on the soundtrack? The subtitle looks like it might be a remix, but seriously, of all songs... Cutie Chaser As much as I'm excited for all those licenses, there is no full version for Turn Me On (Heavenly Mix), I think. I don't know how they would go about making an X-edit for that, unless maybe they used the version from Speed Best 2001. Eh, just putting my thoughts out there. Still hope it's legit. I'd like to see what a GRS for Cutie Chaser would look like
