Here is my take on placeholder graphics.

Cool graphics, everyone! The original post has been updated with everyone's different spin on graphics, so if you need placeholder graphics for a simfile, you can pick one of those to use.

I'm a bit surprised no one made a stock market-themed graphics for this contest, so here's my take on it.


I also made a cdtitle to accompany with it for anyone to use as a placeholder.

Maybe we should just make a contest centered around simfile graphic design, or has that already been done?

Haha, well usually contests receive 3-5 different graphics submissions, so this is certainly not out of the ordinary. It's also nice to have a variety of graphics to choose from, so if you are unable to make graphics for your simfile, you can try to pick a graphics style to match your simfile.

But now that points don't exist, could I get my name updated to GameBor before this contest, or can I make a replacement account with no repercussions?

I believe you'd get a strike or a ban if you made a second account; as for the name change, ZIv usually doesn't allow for any users to get their username changed...

However you might be better off submitting a skeleton anyways:

PRO TIP #1:
If you wanna make a bit of $ but you don't have the time to make a simfile, you should still submit a skeleton. As long as you don't make any bids in the auction, you have a good chance of gaining $ from auction, and it is impossible for you to lose $. Therefore, your best bet is to submit a skeleton whether or not you can participate in the rest of the round.

The auctioning starts in less than 12 hours.

As of now, there's up to 50 minutes (maybe less) of songs to listen to. If your name isn't on this list and you wish to participate in the first round (and possibly gain points for your song cut), now's your chance!



Remember, the deadline is at 4:00 AM UTC.

I also just received rapidemboar's cut, so he's on the list as well.


Skeleton submissions are now over! Here is the link to the Google Drive folder with all of the song files. You can listen to all the songs within Google Drive, or you can download the entire folder as a zip.



Send your bids in! Please review the Auction rules on the spreadsheet to make sure you understand how bidding works!

These songs are all very interesting choices; I only heard three of the songs on this list out of all them before today.

Everybody's bids should be in. If you bid, but you do not have a file yet, it is likely because someone has outbid you. Remember, you can bid on as many files as you want, even though you will only receive one. Also remember that the bids are a maximum, meaning that that is the most you are willing to pay. Very rarely will you actually pay the entire maximum bid for your file.
