Can I get in? I happen to have something that already fits the theme (it's rated 9, and in case people don't agree with the rating, the song is from the 90s)

I thought I'd start the Spring Cont-I MEAN, Summer Contest (Does this usually start in May...?) with a boom...quite literally!

Hee hee...this song has a LOT of 9s in it:
First of all, and as many of you might notice, both the and charts are rated 9...Well, the chart is more of a "low-tier" 9 and the chart is more of a "mid-tier" 9.
My SM said the predicted meter of is around 8.8-ish, and is around 9.3-ish (´ω｀○) Both round to 9, which worked out really well for this theme (*≧Ｕ≦)

Also, the song's chart would be a 9 on the X-scale as you also might notice; the sample audio starts at 9 seconds into the song; the song first came out in 1999; the BPM is 98 (which, funnily enough, is one beat shy of 99); "Reggaeton" has 9 letters; and the video game Just Dance 3 helped to make the song popular and 3 is the square root of 9 (*´艸｀)ﾟ･*:.｡. ☆

The graphics were made entirely from scratch by myself using Adobe Photoshop and online dollmaker Kisekae to make the stylized rendition of the Just Dance character, which you see on the graphics (*>∀<*)

This was also my first time trying to make a .lrc file to go along with my simfile, and I think I did well with it (〃’▽｀〃) Shoutout to Nezemarth whose "Ring-a-Ling" file with an .lrc introduced me to LRC Generator, which I used to make the .lrc for this one! Also, how very fitting of me to post a Spanish-language simfile on Cinco de Mayo

Hope everyone likes this file - it's the first one I've done in a while and I'm hoping I haven't lost my spark! (●´∀｀●)

Had a few files I could have used instead due to matching BPM or even one with a 9 in the name already, but instead decided to just make a brand new one from scratch with something I would normally not do. Think it turned out alright, even if just because the 4 chart is incredibly fun to play.

Won't spoil the song quite yet but I took the safe route and made a 9 for the occasion.

I was considering (re)stepping fetty wap's magnum opus, 679, since it's both 95 bpm and the title has a 9, but I declined because I'm not worthy.

From the dark depths of reviewing a bunch of people's charts comes this one. I was going to say that simplicity was the order of the day because of the 2 charts (and that I'd rather more critically analyze them than spread myself thinner) but the 64th swing throws that out the window. After staring at Audacity and verifying the sync you can enjoy the fun of working on your fa or something.

No fg gimmicks (yet), but there are rolls so if there's anyone here using base 3.9 you really shouldn't by now

Most of the mines signify that you need to either doublestep intentionally because of repeats in the song, or in one case footswitch; there aren't any speed changes or stops present.

I will not be sharing my reviews publicly until the week's results are already finalized by Pandy and co, that being said I'd be happy to give you some feedback privately if you PM me once the next round starts. Since I'm starting a new job (exciting!) expect your review by end of next week.
