AND WHAT HAPPENED TO SELECTING YOUR CHARACTER FROM THE BEGINNING LIKE IN THE ARCADE VERSION????!!!! This game still looks sharper and better than SN1 though. I can't wait for the arcade version of this game. It's going to be absolutely amazing. *Already is over the PS2 version*

But I wonder if someone who is able to do this look into the game disc data and see if there are any songs that are well-hidden. (Think Memories from US Extreme)
There's still a chance that we may have some other songs on here.And I'm trying really hard to ignore the fact that TMP and PH may only be online...
I mean, it's a little hard to believe that this mix only has 72 songs compared to SN and Ex2 which both had 74.

The background videos do appear in normal game mode. Sorry for confusion!
Got ES and OMES just now.
ES: Unreal EXP, 1.5x, Rev, Note (can't change mods, bar life, no recover)
OMES: NGO EXP, Sudden Death
EDIT: Completeing them DOES NOT allow them to be purchased.
Oh, and FELM is in one of the first hyper master mode levels.

haha ES rules are freaking WEAK. i cant believe they botched that shit up.
do you atleast have to AA "SONG X" to get ES? its obviously not going to be unreal.

You can AA any song. Volcano is unlocked for regular play.
And you have to AA Unreal to get NGO.

AAing unreal to get NGO makes sense if they are the ES and OMES.
i cant believe they messed this up though. they atleast managed to get it half way right on SN1, but this time they didnt even use the right songs.
this better be like TMS as the ES of EX US.

The charts are very good though, I can say that. Hyper Master Mode has gotten better. But other than that, this version was a letdown.
Temperature has a good chart.

After I unlocked NGO, I don't know what to do. Do I have to play ALL of the songs from the "areas" courses in HM mode? After I unlock NGO, is that basically it? How do I unlock the characters and stuff? After I got to each area, I just played the "boss" song to get to the next area. I only played songs that were not boss songs so I can play them in normal mode.

They're not, you just have to beat them in Hyper Master Mode (Paranoia Hades is L-boss, Trip Machine Phoenix is K-boss)

Someone on BMS is saying that there are two secret areas: Area K and Area L.
How Area K is unlocked is slightly vague at the moment. What is known is that it allegedly contains Outer Limits and Trip Machine PhoeniX.
Area L is presumed to be unlocked by beating Area K's boss, or possibly the whole area. Paranoia Hades and Trim are allegedly found there.
We only have one source for the moment, so it may not be true.
