If it helps I find most of the Naoki ft. Paula Terry songs to be underwhelming and the cartoon heroes remix cover is more easy for me to get into in comparasion and honestly the zvocals are what made cartoon heroes so iconic it's hard not to be compared to

Ok now after listening to the CH Remix in High Quality, I'm already starting to hate it. It sounded like the olden days of DDR from the POV of a camera but when the screen is being recorded, the cracks are already starting to show. I wish Techno/Trance/Eurobeat was still a thing and not the trash Dubstep/Trap.

Listening to the song I'm kind of eh on it, but I've not really been too big a fan of it to begin with, even with the original AQUA version.

it's literally just an edm remix not even actually considered dubstep or trap, despite containing some elements of trap, it's not close enough to sound like actual trap it's just dance music.
girl if u expect to return to the 90s go play older games all you're going to have to expect nowadays is not what you asked for times have changed and even you know it so why should you expect to return to an era of trance?

Ok fine I admit it, I'm one of those "I Hate My Generation" pieces of trash, and I would like to blame Dance Dance Revolution for that, if I still played Just Dance (Sorry for bringing that junk in there.) I would've liked the music in this game, oh wait, I wouldn't because I wouldn't care about DDR, I'd think it would be dead when it's still alive without me noticing.

Whew, lads, that remix is stinky. Half-baked instrumentation over confused vocals that sound like they were recorded before nc even finished arranging the track. It's a good day to not be attached to the Barbie Young version.

I feel like these “20th Anniversary Remixes” could’ve been available from the start. On top of that, there are a handful of songs that could/should be remixed for the 20th anniversary by the right people, but considering how this is Konami that we’re dealing with here and how each BEMANI game that is applicable for celebrating an anniversary this year is already showing signs of being fairly lackluster with it, I have more faith in them bringing upon disappointment or just being underwhelming, in general.

let's be real I genuinely think most people who don't like the remix already had their minds made up the moment they realized it was a remix and not just a revival of the Speedy Mix, at least that's what it comes off as

I think this DDR anniversary has been great honestly, A20 has great songs, the DDR SELECTION folder (though I think they should include more songs) and hopefully the rest of the 20th anniversary remixes (HYNBM was great, but I guess Cartoon Heroes ended up being more controversial?). I honestly was hoping for a big event for BEMANI's 20th anniversary back in 2017 but alas.

I'm really curious to see which songs would appear in a Kaiden course. It'd probably be all 19s though.

iidx and gitadora are the only underwhelming so far imo moreso gitadora but that's kind of an less popular franchise, also they've done the whole slowly adding content thing since 2013 what do you expect this is to gain attraction throughout the whole lifespan in the age of social media

So is Konami just going to have noisycroak do ALL the new remixes/bastardizations (in the case of Cartoon Heroes) of old Dancemania licenses then? That is going to get old really fast.
