"On ZiV I'm like Princess Diana"

Last updated: 2018-10-24 04:31pm
Honestly, I would have loved to see a new NAOKI feat. PAULA TERRY song for the 20th anniversary (The CHUNTHM version of Butterfly is apparently arranged by NAOKI). While I've liked a lot of the 20th anniversary stuff, it really doesn't feel like a complete celebration to me without NAOKI considering he was such a huge part of the games and their music. It's a little perplexing to me that SEGA has been commissioning NAOKI to make all these subtle 20th anniversary throwback songs for their own game, hard to believe NAOKI wouldn't have made some songs for DDR if asked considering how much he's been tweeting about the 20th anniversary the past few months.

And I mean, at least a NAOKI feat. PAULA TERRY song would be a nice change of pace to the music we've been getting in DDR lately. Can't even remember the last time we got a new original English pop song in DDR and they used to be a staple of the series.

Would be nice to see some new RevenG stuff Tongue but yeah, Paula Terry stuff too.

the chaos remix doesn't really sound like chaos, apart from what I guess is the motorbike/car speeding sound and the part with the pause/jumps, MAX 360 is kind of hilarious as it sounds like one of those old simfile pack songs where somebody would increase the speed by 20% or so and add in a few sounds over the top haha, the posession remix is ok though, I'm curious what else is gonna get remixed.

...a damn good remix of one of the most well known songs in DDR ever (MAX 300, sorry CHAOS enthusiasts)

Where was I for this remix, I know we got MAX 360 from the 2006 era stepmania packs, but I don't recall another MAX remix 🤔

Song is cute, obviously as an English speaker the messages are a little lost on me but I can appreciate what Konami and whoever composed it did here, really nice tribute. Love the Level A Galactic Strike voice clip near the end too!

Excited to see what continues to come! Maybe it'll go on until 20th November!

#OurMemories would've been a lot cooler if they had regional variants with different messages mixed in, but oh well.

OurMemories sounds too generic for my liking.

The cover art is absolutely marvelous. ;u;

The song is... nice. The music is kinda generic, 'n I was kinda hoping something with more of a trancey, travel-back-in-time feel would be composed for a song about memories. But that's kinda a biased wish, and it was really sweet of them to get fan input for the song.

Not the biggest fan of #OurMemories audibly, but it's hella fun to play. The next update specifically mentions a new site, so are we on the "NEW MIX YEEEEEEEEAH" hype train? Or the infinitely more reasonable "KAC BABY YEEEEEEEEEAH" hype train?

Consider this: There's 2 slots left in the page, so i assume the next announcement will be the OST and MAAAYBE the next one is the new mix

"Pancakes!"
Site page for the DDR A OST sounds... incredibly dull given what has happened thus far.

I don't see them doing that if they are still just linking to where to buy the OSTs to 2013 and 2014 on the DDR A front page. They'll probably just link the OST whenever they decide to release it without a whole site treatment.

A new mix sounds more plausible. We went nearly a year without any new original content, and all the newer stuff seems like they would have been for the next mix.

I think the new song is a little underwhelming but it's not the aural travesty some people are making it out to be.

I believe that we'd be getting a new mix (that'd be real freaking nice), since DDR A has been around for quite some time, at least from what I can see. I might be wrong, though.

At this point, I'd just be happy with whatever we get.

Really wondering what will happen TO EUROPE now.
We have a few DDR A with no eamusement, and it seems despite what konami said, the matter will stay the same
If they present a new versión, will it get EUROPE? If it does, will it does with fixed eamusement for EUROPE? Or maybe a unlock code system again like x or X2?
0 hope for me to ever try a New machine in my country xd

I think the next game (Dance Dance Revolution B, or whatever they decide to call it) will have a differential upgrade. In other words, the songs from A that other regions got in advance will make it to B, and for Europe, these will be new songs.

How many places in Europe even have A? I'm assuming it's not a lot. Would there even be a point releasing [hypothetical next mix name] here?

There are one in france with 2€ per Credit and 2 songs... (xd)
And there few arround UK but I don't know the exact places Sad
In Spain we will have one as soon our local árcade got the permissions to open a New room next to their árcade using an old one where a pizza restaurant used to be. Since the license for operating a restaurant and an árcade are different we have to wait a lot.
At this point is better to wait for the next release tbh.

This doesnt sound bad at all. The problem is the same. Will ddr "b" got online services? Or like I said, an unlock code system? Lets see.
Maybe they didn't bring eamusement to EUROPE because they were setting everything up to the New version... Who knows!
