Heh, the Expert chart has a 16th step-step-jump pattern which I took as a reference to the Challenge chart of the original doing the same thing at the same sounding part, though that might be reaching. I was gonna link it but it appears BROSONI removed it? Anyway, super trippy, I'm really happy with this one.

In this case we'll probably get another Max song for the Max - Extreme era tribute, and either a Paranoia or a Trip Machine song for the 1st - 5th Mix era tribute. These are the most obvious choices that others in this thread has already guessed.


...or I could be terribly wrong as we were for the Supernova era.

Hello everyone, it's me ARM who has become addicted to raising goldfish.

Being a remix of CHAOS, I remembered the dark Asian presentation of the original song and tried remixing it by mixing together Jungle Terror and Hi-Tech elements.

In the intro and some other parts of the song, I think it's fun to play with your hands pressed together in prayer like a monk in training.

I loved the remix. It sounds futuristic and trippy at the same time keeping what CHAOS is.

The song sucks big time. Now I'll wait for the line out to give my final verdict, but really, I don't have much hopes in this song actually sounding good. The cover looks disgusting too, the yellow is so unpleasant to look at. It looks like someone puked on the damn thing. It would have been awesome to hear another artist not U1 remixing a Naoki song, but this remix shits on the original. Probably would've been better off remixing Trim instead, but of course as it seems, all remixes are going to be song they have in the DDR Selection folders.

Also, I don't see a Max song for this, regardless its celebrating the 20th anniversary, as the Max series is a paramount boss song, with the exception of deltaMax. The use of it is too valuable for what is a small event in comparison to a main game's end run bosses. usually the end point of a real large event.

Not the one to be pessimistic, but I feel this event has lead to a lot of rushed song production, with Sota literally just layering his sounds over Possession with a few modifications, and ARM here absolutely train wrecking CHAOS.

(tl;dr: Song sounds like a train wreck, but awaiting line out, and Not a chance in my beliefs that Max is gonna get representation in this event. Also, think the event was rushed.)

Yeah I'm waiting for a lineout before making a final judgment on this one, but I really liked the original Chaos, I don't think this is doing it for me. And that jacket is god awful.
