You know, I actually really like this idea.
Making it so that the UI changes to the style of another mix depending on the song is a great way to make a throwback to the history of DDR. Freaking great IMO.

To be fair, all of my hopes and expectations were set way too high, sure.
Should've listened to Quickman.
And even then, I wasn't expecting much, just in case.
But this update did not dissapoint at all.
And that is what matters.

tl;dr: DDR 20th was enough of a success in my book.

Who says it is even over?

It says "20th Anniversary songs" and only has one song inside it.

Unless that's a typo, there may be more coming up.

This event feels like DDR's answer to IIDX Sirius' Parallel Rotation event except even more fleshed out with nostalgia.

The only thing missing is a hidden set of Dancemania revivals.

Based on the videos, I really like Show Me Your Moves! It's nice to see a cute pop song with a normal vocalist, it's something DDR's originals have been lacking lately and feels more like a proper DDR song than some of the other originals to come out of DDR A IMO. Hopefully a lot more to come!

Goddamit! I expected nothing (maybe a song or two) but this update just hit me just in the nostalgia. Getting all the UI changes (original DDR for de first era, Extreme for de Max era, X2 for the X era and 2013 for the modern era -side note: the nostalgia hits me harder with both X2 and Extreme, my favorites DDR ever here-), LOVE IS THE POWER -Re:born- BGA revived and a new song with the vibes of the original DDR is just too much for me.

Maybe i have some discrepances with the selection (for example they left DROP THE BOMB, LOVE SHINE, Decade, EDSM and others), but whathever, i'm happy with that

I haven’t really cared for anything that’s been happening with DDR in the past few years but I gotta say, I do love this new update. I also won’t be surprised if new PARANOiA and TRIP MACHINE remixes are headed our way, and I personally think that they should get the EVOLVED treatment if new ones are coming.

Well, color me surprised with nostalgia.

It does seem possible for new PARANOiA and TRIP MACHINE remixes could happen...but I definitely feel this event is gonna lead to new MAX song, The MAX series is due for 19. I feel doubtful they will produce a 20 as people have only just started to get into the A and AA territory with the 19s, a 20 would push people to near failing, those few who can play 19s. I'm hype for this event...just wish a cab wasn't 3 hours away from me.
