I'm seeing/hearing rumors that they might be just gold versions of the cabs. That would be quite underwhelming of those rumors were true, though. (I read this from a post in the "DDR players" Facebook group talking about this. I hope some of you might now what I'm talking about.)

The countdown still has a day on it. As pessimistic as a large chunk of the people here are, I'm sure there's going to be more to the 20th anniversary than a splash screen in Ace. Wait for the timer to tick down before raging.

I mean, in DDR X the Dancemania revivals were among the most played songs even months after the game was released. A month after release, BUTTERFLY (2008 X-Edit) was the #1 most played song on the game and DUB-I-DUB and BOYS were not far behind. Even 5 months after the game was released BUTTERFLY was still the most played licensed song on the game. The same was true of the Dancemania revivals in X2 as well.

I personally think X and X3 would have been received a lot worse without the Dancemania revivals. I won't even go into the collective meltdown the community went into with the mass removal of Dancemania licenses in SuperNOVA.

For what it's worth, the DDR_573 twitter has been tweeting the countdown at exactly 6PM PST everyday, so my guess is we'll see something around that time.

I'm keeping my expectations low - maybe a song and that's it. Last time that's exactly what happened in a BEnama that they hyped up.
