I want to address that my complaint against Chris' tweet was not meant to incite a locale-based argument. It was simply meant to make people, even those who were getting WRs, to realize that what they're getting is pretty damn rare. And they should be grateful for it.

I mean, I get where Chris is coming from, since it is hard to grind shit out if you're constantly having to wait. But I'm the kind of person who is just going to wait patiently regardless of the circumstances. I'm far from being top level but I'd like to think I've done pretty well progressing the way I have. I'm lucky enough to live 15 minutes from one of the two Ace machines in Upstate NY and I'm super fucking grateful for that.

there is 1 machine in the Houston area and it can take a while if people are there but thankfully I go kinda late like near closing.

I'm grateful to have ddr here in general as well.

I guess when you’re an extremely high profile player making comments in a public capacity, things are bound to get scrutinized and misinterpreted. I can only assume that the way it was worded probably made it come across worse than you meant it.

Nothing was misinterpreted. His wording was clear as day. He was getting extremely bent that there were people playing the game in front of him. Why he seems to think he's the only one who deserves the machine is beyond me. Letting that KAC win get to his head.

So, sorry if this has been answered earlier, but is this going to be exactly like the event leading to Triple Counter? Like, you have to unlock all difficulties separately, starting with Beginner, for each song? I really hope not, because that's the one event I didn't actually grind out, after the first song I realized I was sick of them by the time they were unlocked.

Yes, unfortunately you will have to unlock the difficulties one by one.

You also have to repeat it if you want the doubles charts.

21 rounds per mode, minimum. If you fail somewhere (which you might, Prey is looking like it'll be a 17 on Expert) you'll have to do yet another round.

You guys have any suggestions for songs to go for? Like what songs you imagine would have a good chart or just songs you like the most. As always, the new content comes on half price Wednesday here at D&B, so I imagine I won't get too many rounds in tomorrow.

Yes, but you start on Basic to unlock the higher difficulties. No need to play Beginner steps.

Nope, if anything I could play on a lower difficulty.

there are other options out there if you so choose to play for an extended period of time when the arcade is packed, costs a decent amount of money but at this point he may as well get his own personal cab at home or w/e when he can't play in the arcade.
