Loving the content cadence, it's A's second wind. And there's still the DDR MEGAMIX and Love♡Shine わんだふるmix hitting later as well. Really looking forward to the soundtrack whenever that happens.

All these new songs are making it hard for me to stay away from D&B for the week.

I gotta say these new songs have piqued my interests. I actually like fun idol songs and I really want to know what exactly "Vanquish the Ghost" is going to sound like.

DDR Megamix would be the longest DDR song in history that isn't a full version, running at 2:40. This will be interesting. I wonder if they'd revive some old songs like Make A Jam.

They did revive that two years ago. If there's anything else I'd wonder about, it's if Konami will ever bring back the lost tracks in the DDR Megamix.

It's actually only around 2:26 which would make it the second longest, first being Nou shou nakuretsu girl at 2:29.

On topic: hopefully this new Tag song will be less boring than that Pop'n crossover we got recently. I usually like Tag's stuff but that one did absolutely nothing for me.

The only relevance a version number has is if you aren't sure your machine is updated or your machine has no Internet connection, which is required to even play 90% of the updates to begin with.

It's like saying the version number is 1.7 or something, and a new update pushes it to 1.71. Of course the new content in 1.71 isn't in 1.7. It's painfully obvious and should not have to be stated.

More idol songs are always nice.

Regarding song length, I think it's great that we're getting stuff with lengths like Max Love, Brain Matter Explosion etc., and DDR Megamix. Just imagine if they made 2:30 length 17s and 18s. That could help bridge the gap between those and 19s (I mention this because I know that's a thing a lot of high level players have been asking for.)

Eh, I've known of locations whose updates would be inexplicably delayed for days or a week, so knowing version numbers can still be useful.

It's just one song, DDR Megamix, that's ~2:30, right? I'd imagine the composers are pressured to not make their songs that long, because it slows down the rate at which skilled players put credits into the machine. That's the whole reason they got rid of Encore Extra Stage (before bringing it back as part of a once-per-X-credits-only thing), isn't it?

The big issue with EES is that the good players always get it, the average players never get it. Also people are impatient and EES is super time consuming.
