It seems like a number of cabinets in the US are experiencing monitor issues (specifically, portions of the backlight are becoming very dim). This is only affecting JP cabinets, the Korean ones appear to be OK at the moment.

As an American, I can't say I'm thrilled with the current pushes from the Korean rating board; at the very least, couldn't they get a generi-jacket like some of those older Sound Voltex alterations? In addition, I don't even think this art is "too sexual". Yes, she has back showing, but her breast region is more than amply covered, and it's not tight enough to show anything.

Is there really another version of the jacket?

I don't think that has anything to do with it, otherwise Pump It Up would have had a lot of things changed as well throughout the years, yet it has some BGAs that are much worse than any DDR jackets.

From what I hear, the reason SDVX had to go back to a November version of the game (songlist-wise at least) is due to the ratings board actually saying they need to re-review the game's content from that point on or the game would be completely removed from arcades. Probably a similar issue with DDR but they probably went through the procedure (DDR doesn't have as many songs to cover that's for sure) and now have to get all the newer songs reviewed before being added..

It's possible, given that Pump It Up only updates monthly unlike DDR's completely random times.

Also if it were due to the jacket art, PURSUER should have been the one to be region locked.
