Charts with wacky BPM gimmicks are fun to play & figure out if done properly, and not forcing you to PFC it. It can make seemingly plain songs more exciting.
They did it better with AFA compared to OT"P", just like the stops in Pluto (not The First) compared to CHAOS.

Honestly probably Pluto Relinquish , and I've actually passed that one on an actual machine, I'd much rather play ACE FOR ACES than it.

Worst 18 of this mix? Sure. Worst thing you've ever seen? You should look up videos of some of these charts.

18 footers are where the charts get kind of stupid. That's kind of just accepted chart design at those levels (and occasionally they don't screw it up...like most of A, actually. It's weird).

I've played all of those charts numerous times and I'd still say A4A is worse than all of them.

NGO Challenge isn't AWFUL. Paranoia Hades I'd argue is downright competent. Pluto Relinquish Challenge is also just a "meh" chart. Those are all better than A4A.

Obviously it's better than DEGRs and PtF, because being castrated is better than DEGRs and PtF.

I would not put A4A on the same tier as DEGRS and Pluto The First . It's not a fantastic 18 but there's easily worse 18s in the game. The on the other hand I would put in that category.

For a second, I thought this might be a song from SOUND HOLIC's recent albums. (What if it actually is?) If not, then either way, I'm glad SOUND HOLIC's making his first original contribution in DDR.

By the way, I'm still on Rinon's Adventure III, so I still haven't accessed ENDYMION yet, so to quote from Zowayix's post 3 days ago...

Steps seem to be boosted twice as much from what I could tell.

It also isn't for Rinon's Adventure III steps. It's from Rinon I on. Babylon's could also be boosted but I have no real way to confirm it and it doesn't seem like it is necessary given how easy it is to unlock those.

Pluto Relinquish and NGO are generally fine. Pluto Relinquish is just a lot of high speed crossovers, doublestep it if you must, otherwise it's fine. NGO is a silly amount of jumps, if you can shorten your hops, limit your time in the air, then very doable, or just mash that honestly, that seems like a better method tbh. Should be more upset about the long stream to end the chart, thats the real pain.

Pluto Relinquish isn't even bad at all until the ending, and even then the ending is only going to be bad if you're terrible at crossovers and/or doublestepping.

Honestly amazed it took Konami 6 years to get SOUND HOLIC to do an original DDR song.

The ending to NGO is identical to that of with the up/down arrows switched, so it always has been a recovery zone for me.

Just like how the first 185 BPM section of Valkyrie dimesion is nearly identical to the third 185 BPM section of Valkyrie dimension, just with left/right switched.
