The error stood for half a day, and it was formatted in the same way the Challenge charts announcement was, so there was nothing to double-check. It's not the leading assumption for official releases to be erroneous, so naturally there would be anger over what was officially announced.

Incidentally, I'm not letting KONAMI off the hook if Night of Nights doesn't receive its Challenge in the US.

At least they fixed the issue and the US is now getting new content. Glad we're getting new stuff and glad DDR A is getting new content, even if it's not very much.

I did not see much outrage outside of the possibility that the Challenge charts may be region locked (which is still possible, nothing in that posting has changed in regards to Night of Nights).

It's also the first time a typo with the version codes has happened. On top of it, it is the first time we've had an original song in nearly a year (Reach The Sky may be one but it was more of a KAC promotional song).

I think there was more outrage over the Dancerush tweet than this.

I mean I would be surprised if they suddenly gave us the original Cirno Math Class song (since America only has the EDM mix) just because it's getting a challenge chart but locking us out of the challenge chart for Night of Nights would literally being the dumbest fucking thing since we already have the song.
