I'm seeing so much salt over dumb crap guys. Calm down, it's just a game. I still believe RA3 was flawed and a better system should have been in place.

This is not a perfect system, but my idea goes like this:
Those levels are permanent and the unlocks are permanent. For example, 30 levels, once you reach lvl 25 you get Endy , 25 for A4A , 30 for Endy and A4A and maybe give it a chart even if it doesn't make sense chart-wise.

And there you have it, you get people grinding, wasting coins, and at the same time, they get progress.

This is like, the worst argument in the history of arguments.

I wanted to keep terse, but just to clarify, being a "boss song" does not make up for bad game design or bad charting.

I recall it taking longer to clear ENDYMION charts but it has been a long time, I stand corrected.

However, that still doesn't mean it wasn't an excessive grind to get through the event and pass the song.

Exactly what, I'm off on how long it took but that doesnt excuse the grind of the event itself, its much easier and sensible to admit this was a poorly structured event instead of struggling to suggest that there's no fault and it was fine.

Some of the best fucking players in the world gave up on this event upon realizing HEAT POWER is exhausted and reset to zero when you failed ENDYMION, and here's y'all, months later, still defending this dumb shit when the top players expressed how bad it was, but no, people that can't pass ENDYMION? Can't clear the vast majority of 15+ charts? They understand better than the champs, they know its not that bad, fuck me.

I think you're confusing me with someone else because I said several pages ago and in a couple of other threads that I wasn't a fan of Ace's unlock system. I just think that the constant bitching is unnecessary. Especially from folks in this very thread who cannot play Ace for one reason or another. Y'all need to chill the fuck out.

And all this whining for what? A boss song nobody can pass on Expert and Challenge and the charts aren't even fun IMO, and IMO by far one of the worst, most mediocre bemani collaboration end roll tracks in the series? This is ridiculous. And I thought Rinons adventure was cute and cool and so what if it was grindy? Konami wants to make money and that's fine and I don't mind supporting a rhythm game series I love.

My point is that all this whining is over 2 songs that aren't even worth unlocking because one is hard as shit and not fun and one is a mediocre pile of trash thats not even worth unlocking and the hard charts are trash too, and the unlock system isn't even that bad so I don't get why everyone is whining about this, and nobody is entitled to anything and we kinda don't have a choice but to wait for stuff to unlock. Point get!
