What I find odd is that no date is given for the expiration of all existing mystery scrolls. The last two games did give dates for the expiration of their paid items. Though they were both a week after the sales all stopped.
However, since CB also appears to have a hardware upgrade to go with it, I'm guessing it won't be a network upgrade like Sinobuz was (and might be more involved to install). There also isn't that much of a reason to force the expiration of paid items anyway, since they all become useless with the next game regardless.

What I'm more confused by is the date mystery scrolls will stop being sold - December 10th. Which is a Sunday. Usually these things expire on a Wednesday or Thursday.
Also, I finally beat the Ninnin shichikenden event yesterday. So much grinding...

So I'm totally new to the realm of IIDX in arcades (I have a few PS2 versions) and I know Sinobuz is old hat for a lot of folks, but I'm just getting started with it and I have a question: what exactly is "buzz" and how is it used? I get that it's some form of game-currency, but I'm not aware of any in-game shop... Or is there somewhere it can be used on the e-Amusement website?

You use BUZZ to unlock custom UI items and I think songs from coupula that are still locked. But in order to use them you need to have some subscription pass that costs real world money. It's complicated for complication's sake.

This, and you need to use a Japanese e-amusement account to even try to pay for it. Tbh, I'm hoping that someday, R1 will try to change their IIDX HDDs to the Korean version because most of the stuff that's behind a Paseli paywall is included in a standard credit on all Asian versions outside of Japan. >>

Round1 switching to Korean version is as likely as Konami giving out an American version.

Thanks for reminding me why I won't use my Buzz pts...
Thank you random strangers that let me play along with them so I can try out those locked songs at Round 1.

Korean Version or Asian version, it doesn't matter. as long as the Paseli Paywall for standard mode is gone.

Ahh, so THAT'S why when I go to Round 1 the games with e-Amusement actually list the arcade as being in Osaka when it's in the US!The SDVX machine is completely under the impression that it is in Osaka as the first time I played it one of the "Achievements" I got translated to "Play in Osaka".

I mean, if you think a internet proxy is an embassy, then we're all embassies.
Also, is there any news about the second soundtrack?

At this rate I expect the remainder of the Sinobuz songs to be stuffed into the first round of the Cannon Ballers soundtrack, based on what happened to tricoro. But then again, I haven't paid much attention to soundtrack stuff from before the Round1 around here opened, so what do I know?

That'd be weird, considering how they'd been consistent with their Vol. 2s ever since Spada. At least Tricoro has the benefit of being their first attempt at a 2 volume soundtrack.

Dang, and I was really looking forward to extended versions of some of the new songs (Caterpillar and Beat Juggling Mix were my top picks). Here's hoping we get at least a few tracks on CANNON BALLERS.

The only thing konami is consistent about is inconsistency, especially with IIDX OSTs.
There's a couple of trends that only happen like 2 albums and then not again, like the "all the menu bgms" disc for tricoro and spada, CS originals appearing on the OST 2 styles later for some time or "doujin artists remix the theme song(s)" at copula and pendual vol.2s.
Also when's new L.E.D. album, the older artists aren't seeing a lot of long versions on the OST because the others use them on their albums but denjin k is getting old and he surely has enough material for new one by now.

Considering its fairly high price tag (plus DVD, but still), it's most likely going to be that.
C'mon HADES long.
