I doubt you'd find a better version of that banner, considering it appeared in only ONE game (DDR Konamix/DS Party Edition). Also, it's the only game where After the Game of Love was censored (hence the title).

Yes, I know it wasn't really censored because it was only the instrumental.

The coloration of the title and the artist's names are different in each one.

Party Collection: The word Sky is completely white, Giant stripe of blue through the word Look, the e in The has more blue than MAX's, artist title is almost entirely blue.

MAX: Thin stripe of blue through Sky, Look has inverse striping in comparison to Party Collection's, artist title is almost entirely blue.

5thMIX: Title is entirely white, The ends of the artist names (Sy, NA) are white.

If we're gonna split hairs, it's actually not uncommon to have the actual image data be rectangular, but with alpha channel values or masks to make parts of it transparent; official ROM data rips that ignore the alpha channel or mask will end up rectangular because they'll retain the parts that normally end up edited out via transparency.

I assume this is the same reason why ripped Extreme 2 banners have sharp rather than curved corners (as how they appear in game).

The important thing to me would be, can someone manage to post them in their original aspect ratio?

This is just me, but I'd rather have my banners in a black background for legibility, so that myself, or my friends when they use my computer, can see the banners clearly. Besides, some banners, when with their clear backgrounds, would blend in with Stepmania's themes.

As for the corners thing, I actually agree with what Poochy.EXE said. Some developers use pictures with square corners, only for them to have rounded ones when used. Hell, using the DDR banner rips, Stepmania (depending on the theme) will round them off.
