The whole "SABER WING (remix) thing" is in the JP version too. It got moved when 2014 got released. Konami tends to move songs that were added to the previous mix at the end of their lifespan, into the next mix's folder. Technically preview songs I guess? bass 2 bass, Poochie, etc also got moved from 2014 to A.

It is difficult to explain. It doesn't really feel like there's an escalation or much of a structure to it. As I earlier said, I don't find much fault with the composition of the track. The piano is quite nice, actually. It's simply the arrangement that feels lazy; almost like an afterthought, really. It could have benefited from a slightly more dynamic beat and perhaps a slower tempo. ACE FOR ACES feels extremely rushed. Even though the song breaks two minutes, the way the composition sits with 200 BPM makes it feel like it's in a hurry to end. Again, it's hard to articulate, but something like the 200 BPM sections of 冥 feel properly paced even though they have a complex composition laid over a relatively static and repetitive beat. I'm not entirely too sure why. It very well might be simply because it's a quieter track.
I don't find ACE FOR ACES to be a bad song. It's not offensively bad like Trigger, but it's one of the more bland songs that appear on DDR games. I find fault with the fact that it's actually too inoffensive and square in the middle. If I had to describe A4A in a word, it would be "passive." It sounds like it only has four layers to it at any given time: The beat, the lead, a background pluck synth, and a bass, alongside miscellaneous sounds that occur during transitions into and out of BPM changes.
Again, I don't need a song to be explosive, noisy, and heavily processed for me to enjoy it. Not everything needs to be Cosy Catastrophe. A4A could have probably just used more kicks to ground it a little, and maybe a 180 BPM tempo.

This is all based on audio that's heavily concealed by the announcer and crowd sounds, though, so I wouldn't classify what I just said as accurate. It might improve with clean audio and I could very well be wrong here, since half of the song is obscured by DDR sounds.

i think his works for the Hottest Party releases were better, showcasing his variety. Take a Step Forward, The Island Song and Heatstroke are really good.

TAG is a hit and miss kind of person when it comes to originality and likability. E.G. Chronos sounds like the original Saber Wing, but then you get Shiny World. Oh, of course, how could we forget about POSSESSION?!

I'm hoping konami does something this month regarding AfA and ENDYMION, no one really cares anymore, so might as well lower the requirements (or better yet, release the songs and unlock via EXTRA SAVIOR instead).
I think we may get new songs too, but it'll be technically preview songs like the OSB Winter songs back in 2015.

If they follow in the footsteps of RDi, we'll get Ace For Aces in the first half of this month, a 'once every credit' unlock in the first half of December, and a normal play unlock in late April 2018.

If they continue the progression of RDi taking longer than RDa and make RA W11 take longer than RDi by the same amount, then we might get Ace For Aces in the first half of this month, some mystery downgrade (hopefully involving phase 2) in the first half of December, a 'once every credit' unlock in the first half of January, and a normal play unlock in late June.

DDR A is potentially gonna last till' June 2018? That's even longer than what DDR 2014 took, and that has 94 songs. DDR A better get some new songs by then.

For background information: when all Korean men reach the age of majority, they go through a mandatory health checkup to see whether they are fit for military duty. There are different grades by number from 1 to 7 which correspond to the following:

Grades 1-3: normal (the higher the number, the less “ideal” you are - usually overweight men tend to be ranked 2 or 3)
Grade 4: alternative service; given to individuals that fulfil their military duties as a civil worker amongst civilians.
Grade 5: civil defence during war.
Grade 6: exemption from military service in both situation.
Grade 7: re-check-up within two years.

Legally, he’s well within his bounds to just immediately start his conscription tomorrow or delay it until he completes his bachelor’s degree - or like most men, finish one or two years of schooling and take an academic leave of absence.

A MARVELOUS is worth 1488 points; 1 million / 1488 ~= 672 steps and freezes. This really IS going to take a while.

So depending on the number of freezes, this could be a new record for # of steps in a 15, which I definitely wouldn't have expected.

The current record for steps in a single player 15 is Starlight Fantasia (Endorphins Mix) with 618 steps. If A4A has less than 54 freezes, then it'll break the record.

The CHECK!SONGS page has a CD quality sample of ACE FOR ACES, which gives it a lot more depth than what's been heard so far from lineouts. I'm excited to hear the full hi def version when the soundtrack comes out.

I feel like despite how I've been shilling the song as some 200BPM d'n'b epic, the samples used in it are... low quality. I'm using studio-quality headphones to listen to it, and it just sounds washed out. Especially the percussion. This may just be me, but I get the feeling it's a big contributor to why people aren't a fan of the song.
