My girlfriend says it reminds her of watching the background dancers in DDR.
Incredibly entertaining.

I meant to dance like them. lol. I'm glad you and her liked it. Sadly, I already have 2 dislikes. Haters I guess.

Well I deleted the dance video. I already had 4 dislikes. I'm completely heartbroken about that. All I was trying to do was do something nice for the DDR community and they don't even like it. I reuploaded it, but I'm not posting it here again.

You had... 4? o_o; Uhm. I'd hope that the likes would've negated that eventually...
I don't know why they disliked it besides being bored dorks. It's not like they had any reason to.
Drat. It had character moves and everything. D:

I actually liked the classic DDR select music loops that you imitated. But yeah, removing after 4 dislikes isn't the best thing to do...

I'm just a little curious as to how many likes you had? It seems a little silly that you've taken it down after 4 people in the entire world didn't like your video. The people who probably disliked don't even know what you were doing in the first place and either thought "this is dancing" or just don't like DDR.
In general I think you will live a happier life if you don't yet negative criticism/outlook put you down.

....taking down a video because it has 4 dislikes is pretty much saying the people who hate it have won their side of the fence, in the sense that they hated your video so you allowed them to get their point across. You shouldn't let them get to your head, or instead take that into consideration and possibly ask what they want to see from you in terms of dance videos in the future and build upon that for future videos.

The Wii U does have USB.
So if the Wii U has USB, does that mean the USB mats like the one for PS3 will work on it? I was extremely surprised when I got my Afterburners to work on PS3, so maybe the new console jump won't be too bad. (except for the fact that Wii games never have enough disc space and there's just something else about them I don't like). Why couldn't Konami make a good PS3 release? Is it really that hard to make a game just like the arcade like they did for PS2? Plus the PS3 holds more data, right?

Depends on how the pad identifies itself as a controller. On the Wii the USB port disallows itself to be used for controllers. Cobalt Flux pads work on the Wii... through the GameCube controller port, but not over USB. It is being assumed that the Wii U will allow controllers over USB since there is no more 'Cube hardware, we'll just have to wait and see.

You all made good points. I shouldn't have taken down the video. And to answer Paradox0's question, it had 6 likes. I just don't like it when I have a lot of dislikes. But 4 really isn't that many now that I think about it. I'm sorry to everyone who liked it. Here's what I'm going to do: I'll post the video here again. I just simply reuploaded it and this time I will ignore the dislikes. I'm glad the most of you like it anyway. So enjoy!

Well, I guess part of the problem for American arcades would actually be its size. While I'm not saying people would flock to Tokya, Kyota, Osaka, etc just for their arcade selection, the trip is greatly facilitated with Japans national transport system. The argument you present does make a lot of sense, but it just makes me extremely upset that I am one of the few people who could possibly sustain myself with visits to the arcade as a means of entertainment.
Side note: I am definitely planning on going to Japan at some point, but I often wonder if experiencing their arcade potential would be enough to justify the trip? I would love to play Pop'n music and beatmania (even perhaps drumania, though not sure if they still make those) because these aspects are exceptionally appealing.
I still think there should be a case made for an international release of DDR, but not in the way it has been done over the past few years. Rather than order the dedicab or upgrade from (what has proven to be a subpar distributor...), why not put the costs on genuinely interested arcades? There are a few that own every recent DDR cabinet, and though the cost would be higher than normal, I wouldn't really see the problem excluding the cost of the whole trade. The biggest issue with this thought is the laws concerning where arcade games can be sold and used.

Anyway, America has potential. Just look at the location test, it's nearly IDENTICAL to the Asian cabinets.
In comparison with this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tHJRdom3sNY
For Wulfy....size not the problem...but our lazyness to stay home and play console/arcades can't afford the good stuff since people aren't flocking to them like they did 10+ years ago.
To Parafox......nearly IDENTICAL is a joke when it comes to our X2 cab. I was at the test (So Cal) for X as well as tested the X2 at Konami and one was an Asian cabinet (the test one) while the other was a US cab with Asian pads (Konami office). Both were good and responsive with no pad problem....but a lag problem.
What did we get....a fail with X and a face palm when it came to X2 since Betson are some cheap bastards. So the potential you speak of is a joke (since a handful of people will ever get a chance to play this game) and the only "perfect" cab with no lag or pad issues that's playable in the US is located at Gemini Arcade (Las Vegas) and they only have X2 upgrade.
Our only hope is Round 1 out here (So Cal location) to get the Asian cabs.....which they said they're working on/order, in some time this year. Other than that, from my view anyway, a lot guy given up on ever playing this game or just play ITG.

As far as there being no AC US or CS support in general, I feel the main cause is that StepMania is wildly popular...especially with StepMania 5 having almost UNIVERSAL compatibility with dance mats of all kinds, soft or hard. Even if your mat isn't USB, finding a converter box isn't hard. With all the work you guys do here, we usually have newly unlocked charts from AC DDR within a week, and without the restriction of ENCORE EXTRA STAGE, needing sufficient ENJOY LEVEL, or what have you. News flash: NEPHILIM DELTA Expert is a good bridge from 14 to 15 when you're not forced to play on EXTRA STAGE.
If you're at all serious about DDR, a $300 metal pad will pay for itself in just over two years, even if you only play twelve songs a week. I've had my metal pad for five years and it's probably paid for itself at least five times over. StepMania is just so customizable. It's not the sole reason why AC DDR isn't produced in the US, but it's probably a major factor.

Random, but aesthetic question: Are those lightsticks and that monitor light REALLY that expensive that they need to be cut? Perhaps maybe the lightsticks could be done without, because we have too many brats in our country who think, "Oooh, shiny colors" and knock into the sticks, thus breaking them. But regardless, it makes the cabinet A LOT more aesthetically pleasing, because if those dull Raw Thrills X and to a lesser extent, X2 cabs are any indication...

The people who make up 95% of DDR sales are not the same people who have or want to have full StepMania setups with pads. It's a result of many factors, some within KONAMI's control, some outside. In general, arcades are not a particularly lucrative business in North America, and the "music game crash" has probably hurt CS as well (though the plummeting quality of CS releases didn't help either).
