Toxic is awesome, I'll agree there. The middle section of Baby's Tears is really boring, sparse, and doesn't flow well. I think the rest of the chart is really fun though. Especially the mini 8th runs near the beginning and toward the end. I think it makes up for that middle section, which I try to spice up with a little bit of ghost stepping, to see if I can make it flow better.

I was being sarcastic with that first comment, obviously. The rest of the game is all right, it just doesn't live up the standards of Extreme (therefore it is terrible, by the logic of the community). I really like a lot of the new material. Flowers, Seduction VR, Fly Away, True Love, Innocence of Silence, and I could go on for a while.

I don't understand why people have to have such high standards for the game, simply because it followed a really good mix. Why can't people simply find what they like, and enjoy it? Why do people have to find what they hate, and complain about it? It doesn't make much sense to me. That's why I find what I like, and I have fun. Where does complaining get you? It just pisses you off more. Just have fun people.

On topic, I hope that Relinquish will be unlocked for EES after Zukin Wars Episode 3, so we can finally hear the real thing

Festival didn't re-do any of the double charts for Ultramix 1 songs.

Yeah, the Insertion and Keep On Movin' remix were re-done, but not put on SN1 CS. I don't have the files, and if I had a camera, I would make a video for you. But I do not

its because for 8 games(more actually, but 8 main games) they got progressively better, with the music cuts improving, the step charts getting better and better, and they got progressively more difficult without being stupid.

SN got bad reviews from most players because the new material failed to impress, there were terrible edits for the crossovers, bland charts, and the difficulty range was stupidly easy and stupidly hard with very few songs in between.

thats not to say there is nothing good about supernova. there are a few songs on there i liked, baby's tears, flow, mugen no hikairi, toxic... and my mind just went blank. seriously, that game was very lack luster. SN2 is doing the opposite though, i can list pretty much every new to SN2 song as something i like. its a good game. i'm not one of the blind konami haters because of what happened with roxor being retarded and thus ending up in legal trouble, i just dont like supernova.

I'd say SN2 is probably one of the best music-wise. It's also got a lot of cool content, it's pretty much worlds beyond SN1. Some of the stepcharts could use a makeover (Ain't no Mountain High Enough, My Favorite Things, Shades of Grey, and a few others).

I don't really have a problem with the stepcharts - Ain't No Mountain and Sunrise are killer 6's - my issue is with the difficulty ratings this mix (which I don't need to get into since you've all heard it before). Well ok, I also don't like super jump streams unless they're in Drop Out or Ska Ska No.3.

Doubles is eh...the only real difference is that they fully stepped the part with the 16ths.

Now you see, you have good logic here, and I'm not being sarcastic. Everyone I've talked to gave one of the following (I feel) invalid reasons: 1) They say they hate the game without any reason. 2) They only want to play Extreme to increase their DP Average for that mix (kind of understandable, but come on. This is suppose to be a game, and games are suppose to be for fun). 3) SN is bad because Extreme is better. BUT, they didn't say that the games got progressively better, they just said "I think Extreme is good, so SN is bad". Here's to hoping the "We're starting over!" phrase referred to Supernova, and the games will only get better from here on out.

But enough of my ranting, let's just get back to awesome SN2

Yes, My Favorite Things, such an awesome song. Charts are pretty good. Could be a little better, but I'll take them.

Finally the video, thanks for uploading (and that sucks about the volume). I'm kind of disappointed in the chart for two reasons. It's a copy-paste rhythm from the single, but I can deal with this if the patterns are good (example = Tino's White Horse). Second, it seemed like there was a lot of double stepping, from what I could see. I'll have to look at the chart a little bit more to be sure though.

Finally we get the video. Same thing happened at my arcade where they put down the volume of the SuperNOVA dedicab, and it isn't that good now. I liked it where it used to be and the volume it used to be. Why do arcades always have to mess good games up?
