Okay, to be honest, I wasn't going to submit anything for Round 1 because of the recent sh*t going on this site. Well that, and I felt like I need to take a breather from simfile contests at least until Summer Contest comes around. But then I thought "Why not submit something to Missed Connections? It's more about the fun.", so here we are.

Anyway, if you don't know what Pop Team Epic is, basically it started out as a 4-koma by Bkub Okawa and... it has no plot really. Just some antics Popuko & Pipimi get into. It got adapted into an anime in January 2018 and since the last episode is going to be next week, I thought I'll step this glorious anime opening and submit this. I'm sure you can find clips from the anime on YouTube, so go watch those to see if you like this sort of absurdist humour. Or go look up the manga on Google. I'm not your dad... or... senpai.

The has lotsa footswitches, the doesn't and is slightly easier overall. Unless you dislike footswitches, I recommend trying the (it's way more interesting)

For a few days I was debating on what to submit to this, and in the end I decided on a song with a fitting title for this event. This song was tough for me to sync up, since like many songs in the classic DDR days it has an inconsistent BPM, but hopefully I minimized the impact of that effectively. please let me know how I did with that!
As my post originally said before I fixed it up today, I got a job recently and I ended up having to rush this out in time before I had to get ready for work (and fairly close to the deadline!) so the graphics and the chart probably aren't the best they could be.
but nobody cares about beginner charts, right?

That's weird. I downloaded it a few days ago and it had everything included. Here's the download for the WILD RUSH/DROP OUT mashup. I'd upload it directly to the category but I'm not in this contest yet.
