- 1 | - 4 | - 6 | - 8Normally not a fan of rock, but K.I.D is an exception. I saw them live as an opening act to a concert and I was instantly hooked. I was gonna step one of their tracks for [Short], but the one I was looking to step wasn't as steppable as I thought it'd be. But I'm glad I was able to step something from their catalog!
In other frustrating news, as a result of 삐리뽐 빼리뽐 being uploaded at 3AM last week, I made a typo when uploading to the category, which leads to the video not playing when you play the file. I fixed the name in the category and have to re-upload because of that, but no changes have been made to the files. If you already have the file DL'ed, you can either fix all the files to have the correct title ("[Short] - Bbiribbom Bberibbom" as opposed to "[Short] - Bbiribbom Bberibom") to see the video, or you can totally ignore it.

At first I was having a hard time deciding what song to step. I was going to go with a song from Lady Gaga's album Joanne, but that's more country than rock so it's cheesing the theme. I then considered doing pop rock (such as Kelly Clarkson, P!nk, or Avril Lavigne)
but I wasn't sure if pop rock would be considered "rock that has a more mainstream sound" or "pop with guitars." Then I remembered this song. This song is perfect for this week, as it's a fast-paced rock song and allows me to make harder charts than I can with my normal song choices.

I'm sure you know this (the audio is listed as LQ on the simfile page, after all), but the new audio is much, much quieter than the old audio. When you need the audio and video to sync up, you can use a program like Audacity to line it up right. Just match the wavelengths of the HQ audio and the video's audio and you'll get a perfect audio file!
I would also try adjusting the offset, that might help fix the issue.That said, I had downloaded all the files up to mine so I could go ahead and start reviewing them, and this update was a massive improvement.

Not gonna lie, I basically only took one day finding this and I was prepared to give up this week really quickly. I guess I didn't, J-rock saves the day. Challenge goes all out save for a tiny bit in the beginning that ended up feeling really uncomfortable to play when fully stepped so I made ~stylistic choices~ in making it a bit easier.
Hard is pretty sweet though and I think for the first time for my submissions hard actually feels like it adds a lot to the package. Challenge is likely still better.
12 (debatable whether this is an 11 or 12 but I rate up when undecided so ymmv)

So I updated the simfile to have two more charts! That's right! This Heart Attack now has + available.
