That's not necessarily a trend of having new artist make EE songs, just that they're finally giving us what they said. However it's true that Emera and Come to Life were also people's first original contributions to DDR.
I'm well aware of the two other Sota F. songs. I didn't necessarily say that they wouldn't use frequent DDR contributors in the EX Exclusive. (Although I don't know why we don't have a TAG song yet...) Meanwhile, I took a look through RemyWiki and figured out how many artists are new or kinda new- In addition to the songs mentioned above, Astrogazer is Yoshihiro Tagawa's first contribution under his DJ TOTTO alias, and second contribution to DDR overall. It seems that 6 out of 9 songs so far are new artists. (5 out of 9 if we don't count Astrogazer, since I might be stretching a bit with that one)
On the other hand, I just noticed that we've reached EX Exclusive level 9- Think they're going to do something cool for level 10? I'm kinda guessing we'll get a TAG song to round things out and get something pretty close to a 50/50 split of old and new artists. It's a wild guess, and I don't know whether we'll even stop at level 10, but we could be nearing the next DDR game...

So far, the only commissioned artist that made an original track for not just EXTRA EXCLUSIVE, but DDR A as a whole, is ARM with Come to Life. The rest of the content are from in-house artists.

Finally HuΣeR make his debut in DDR!. I have high hopes about this one because at this moment almost all of his songs are really good.
With that they complete the KAC announcement and i hope they release some events or songs prior to the 10th EE song.

How do you pronounce HuΣeR? I originally thought it was Hugh-zer, now after closer inspection, is is possibly Hugh-Sig-may-er? Etausigmaer? R isn't anything that I can seem to find doing a quick google search.
Edit: I just noticed Remywiki says its pronounced hummer. Why is that? I guess thats not Sigma, its a sideways M?

For some reason, I always read it as HuEer, and pronounced it similar to "fuher". Glad to get that cleared before I said it in public...

Even now that I know how to pronounce his name, it still bothers me whenever I see that Σ in the middle 
But do you think we'll finally be getting some harder charts any time soon? The game's been out over a year now and there's only been three new 17s, one of which is from an event and the other is a IIDX crossover. I feel like the time is right for some more "boss" charts (maybe an 18...? Please?)

I'd like to see some more
charts in DDR A. I was still new when that Prim song was a thing, and that's still the only new chart so far. Maybe a few of the EX Exclusives could get some- New Century 18, in particular. Maybe we'll get some as EX level 10 comes out? That would be a good way to not only add a new song, but reignite interest in the older EX songs.Not that I have the stamina and skill to play a 16 yet...

I kinda figured a lot of the extra exclusives were going to just get updated with challenge charts sometime down the line. Some feel like they need them and some don't, but you never know what they will do.
