I don't know, but I prefer doing my banners on 512x160 (the 'big resolution') and then resize to the half (to the 'DDR size').

I thought about using bigger dimensions for awhile, but I'm sticking with 256x80 since zooming gives me plenty of room and anything bigger would make me want to add too much.
