So you have made it this far into the Summer Contest. Some of you are still struggling to get into the upper echelon and reach the sacred VIP room. You only have three weeks left: three shots of getting points before it's up to the hands of fate to decide. Make them count. Sometimes it is best to go out on a BANG...
We're gonna go back to simplicity over chart tech, just to cool down after last week's theme.
Step a chart where the singer performs scatting. This is when a singer uses nonsense words or sounds in their lyrics, sometimes to represent instruments, sometimes to form a melody. These include words like doos, dahs, dubs, beeps, boops, and bops.
OR...
Step a chart where there is some form of onomatopoeia in the title or artist's name. These include bangs, clicks, whooshes. and the aforementioned scatting earlier. This is to include songs that don't have a vocalist or scatting, so go wild.

question:"pop" is an onomatopoeia. does the word have to be used in that context to count? for example, a song called "snap crackle pop" works for obvious reasons, but does something like "ordinary pop star" count?
edit: obviously this question applies to others like "bang" (head BANGin', big bang, etc.)
"zoom" (zoomin' zoomin', don't touch (the zoom song))

Not my call to make obviously but personally I think it should actually be used in the context of an onomatopoeia in order to count. Kinda defeats the point of the theme otherwise.

[ IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING LET ME THINK ABOUT IT SX ]
Due to a problem regarding how some rolls may not be able to be fully completed depending on the theme being used, i have decided to mark down several bracket/jumpstep placements in order to ensure those can be completed
b81.5~b85 can function as a simple 16th [L+U][D+R] bracket stream.
b122.5, b124 and b125 can be done as jumps with D.
b132 can function as a [L+U] bracket.
b140 can function as a [R+U] bracket.
b146.5, b148 and b149 can be done as jumps with U, though one still has to do the footswitch as originally intended.
APPEND: Of the themes tested, DanceDanceRevolution XX -STARLiGHT- does not seem to have this issue.

I've been listening to this song nonstop for about a month now, so I'd say this is the perfect time to submit it. I even tried to sneak it in last week, but we decided to go with an actual good song, and it's a good thing we did I guess cuz i can put it to better use this week. Challenge chart has a few little footswitches, I'm trying to work with them a bit more to keep up with you kids these days.
