I had a dream where I met Naoki at someone's house, so I decided to interview him. According to the answers I got (in the dream) he first started working with Konami in 1990, and his first game was released in 1993, except he didn't tell me that himself and I just sort of knew it because it was a dream. Also, prior to him working at Konami, he had no background in music production. I tried asking him more questions, but the TV in the house started playing a really loud video of a rocket blasting off into space, so when Naoki heard the noise he turned into a cat for some reason and hid under the chair. I tried to tell him that I was excited to play SMX soon but he didn't respond because the TV was too loud and also because he was a cat. Then I decided to leave the house, but while I was leaving I thought "Damn! I should have recorded that, and I'd have some great new info to put on Remywiki!"

Dreams have meaning.

So I did my DDR drag number and did Kind Lady and Butterfly (because the audience would know it). I brought out a mat and put prerecorded gameplay on the TVs in the bar and followed the steps. Audience loved it.

Finally got a new computer, only to find out that Stepmania doesn't work on new Mac OS systems (especially not Monterey, which the computer came bundled with). I'm crushed. And I'm assuming there's no workaround and no plan from the Stepmania creators to work on Mac compatibility anytime soon.
