personally i'm loving the hell out of this update; it has a LOT more organization than 2013 had.

I was hoping for more KOs out of this update from Day 1, ah well.

So I guess it sounds like a typical Prim song.

i listened to the video with the actual song and it does sound really unpleasant

I guess for the sake of Simfiles and databases and stuff, the 14th DDR game is now canonically called "DDR2013", and we should wait to figure out if there's enough new content in the next few months for this major game engine update to be considered a "new game", or just another patch?

Mechanically, it seems to be as big a jump as we saw from DDRMAX to DDRMAX 2, but it's so weird to launch it with 0 new songs. Maybe there's actually 20 or 30 unlocks on the machine right now, and they just want the content to trickle out day by day, to make it more rewarding to players?

I kind of like how they relaxed things down (the BPM & difficulty) for once. It makes it look and sound like they aren't trying too hard.

I think that it looks pretty nice, but it would probably be too cluttered on an older machine.

I'm not really feeling this new interface. It looks a little complicated and I don't like the font. It doesn't really look like DDR anymore imo. I don't know; they could have done a better job.

That video also revealed what's in the new DDR folder. It seems everything added since and including 回レ！雪月花 is in there, including all of BEMANI Stadium. Also it doesn't appear that long titles scroll (see: SABER WING (satellite silhouette remix) is barely readable). I think that it's a nice interface change but I don't really like the song titles underneath the jackets. It'd better with just the jackets scrolling IMO. Hoping for some good new KOs to come!
